The hotel is definitely a bit tired and needs updating, which they are probably trying to do as there was a brand new bathroom in the room I stayed in, although the rest of the family had the old version. (Although shower was just a pathetic dribble which made washing long hair a problem). Whole decor has a massive 80's...

Stayed at the Apollo from 23rd to 26st March. Staff friendly and very helpful. Indoor pool lovely. Rooms very very out dated, in bad need of bringing them into this century. The hotel is in a good location close to the town, it has a pizza restaurant and pub on site. Bus station is only a ten minutes walk.

This hotel is straight up the main shopping street from the bus station. Excellent location. Reception staff mainly helpful. It's a bit in need of some TLC but kept very clean and tidy. We had room 119 which overlooked the pool without a balcony. Fantastic king sized bed and cotton sheets and quilt TV and tea and coffee making equipment....

We booked the hotel for one night as we were on a quick visit. The reception staff were attentive and friendly, complimentary wi-if in the room which is still gratefully received even nowadays and a nice choice from the breakfast service. This hotel is ideal for what we wanted - a place to sleep as we had a hectic schedule...

Stayed at the Apollo on the weekend of 24th March staying with friends. The hotel rooms are tired and in need of refurbishment but having said that mine was very clean and comfortable. Staff were very friendly and breakfast was very good and plentiful. I used the bar in the evening and the barman was very friendly and drinks were...

Total waste of space, sleeping rough maybe a better option than staying at this hotel. Room was filthy and tired, bathroom was the same. Hotel totally stuck in the past. However what is worse is that we had property go missing from the room, and without hesitation the manager referred us straight to the police, didn't check lost property or...

I visited St Helier for a week and wanted to be able to work in my room, so I chose a 'superior' room. It was pleasant, looking out onto the internal quadrangle, where the swimming pool is located. The room was clean and everything I needed was there, but it was not superior in any sense that I understand! The...

The hotel was very clean. Food very good. Staff excellent. The receptionist was very helpful as were the staff. Our room was fairly large with trouser press and easy chairs. WIFI in the room was first class. Very convenient to the town as it is only a very short walk. Would not hesitate to come again as they make you...

As an ex Islander, I've never really taken any notice of the Apollo hotel(Huggler Hotels), until we decided to stay here for 4 days. The place is a bit dated, but upgrades are happening. The staff are lovely, even the cleaners are very cheerful. We, 10 of us chose here, as it's very good value for money. We paid £300...
