A fabulous time at the Hotel had by all. Warm enough to use the outdoor pool. Amazing views down to the bay. Great breakfast. Would love to stay there again but unfortunately it is to be converted to "luxury apartments".......such a shame

Thank you so much for the review. Yes plans have been submitted but of course are subject to approval and time frame. In the meantime the Windmills will be open as usual for summer 2019!!! We look forward to seeing our guests again then. Steve and Jane

My friend & I enjoyed a fabulous few days away in Jersey. I couldn’t stay at my ‘usual/favourite’ hotel, so as I knew Windmills was just a few yards along, then that was my next best bet! And I was not disappointed! Greeted upon arrival with a room upgrade, as it was end of

We had a large sea view room with a juliette style window The view across the bay was simply stunning ! The hotel and rooms were very clean ,if not a little dated. Both room and hotel staff were very attentive overall a very good choice for a short break

Just returned from on a 7 day stay at the windmills Hotel. All the staff were most welcoming. Very peaceful, beautiful view of the bay. Lovely pool area. Restaurant menus were varied and plenty of choice. I vow to return.

Eddie, I can answer as far as the Hotel is concerned, you are probably also looking for a cross section of responses from Guests. We are in an elevated position which gives us the most amazing views. Mont Gras D'Eau is a green lane, green lane (means that traffic is controlled to 15mph maximum and right of way to pedestrians) that winds back up from the beach. It takes an average walker between 6 and 8 minutes down the hill and about double that on the way back, however I try and describe it, it is uphill some sections quite gradual some a little steeper. We are a popular Hotel with many guests, to the vast majority of those the hill is worth the effort but no doubt an inconvenience to some. There is ample public car parking in the bay if a car is an option for you and also a public bus (No 14 route) which brings you back up to the top level near to the Windmills Hotel avoiding the uphill walk altogether. I hope this has been helpful Steve Law Proprietor

Do you need a car to get around to and from hotel?
There is a bus stop located with a 5 minute walk from the hotel. We always hire a car as it's easier for us to get about together with luggage but you could do it by foot from the bus stop. If you are ok on foot. If walking is difficult then definitely hire a car as there are some inclines on the path to walk up.

We were unaware of air conditioning in our room when we were there in June. It was not particularly warm during our stay so we would not have required it any way.
