We received a warm welcome at Ostan Oilean Acla when we booked our room for the evening. Clean spacious room complemented by friendly service at the bar and restaurant. With a delicious breakfast included the next morning we wondered what more could one ask for? Great location while visiting Achill Island. (Wifi is available in the bar/restaurant.)

On a 3 day mid week stay. Hiking some of the local mountains and having a few beer in locals around the island. The room was excellent and the host Beatrice was very welcoming. The room was massive and modern. Fantastic shower, tea making facilities, ironing board and most important, a comfortable bed. Well done. The food was OK ,the...

I stayed here with my elderly mother on Sunday 5th June - my mother is very familiar with Achill. We booked a twin room that same day - the reviews on Trip Advisor were good so we expected a good 3 star experience. It was a warm idyllic summer's day in Achill and there was a lot of visitors to...

My husband and I stayed in a spacious room with a double bed and a single bed. Large bathroom, although you should bring your own shampoo. Breakfast good and plentiful, including cooked-to-order dishes. Free WiFi is available only in the reception area (not all common areas or bedrooms) which is quite inconvenient. Location close to well-appointed Super Value -- open...

We did not stay at the hotel but had a nice diner in the Ostan Oilean Acla when cycling the Great Western Greenway. The Restarant is at the end of the Greenway and worth a visit. The beefburger menu can be strongly recommended ! Staff was very friendly and helpful.

On our way to Achill Island we stopped and had lunch in Alice's Bar. We were lucky and got a window seat with beautiful views over the sea. The menu was good and all six of us ordered something different. The salad could have been more substantial, my partner "shared" chips to feel full!. We did start to feel a...

Achill Island has Atlantic Drives; mountains; lakes; barren landscapes; villages; a deserted village; a rugged coastline; some beautiful sandy beaches; etc. etc. What more could one ask for - good weather would be a bonus and that was what we had during our short time in Co. Mayo. The starting point for my wife and I for our three day...

We had a great 2 night stay here. We had a clean comfortable room with a view and the breakfast was brilliant - with fresh local produce, just delicious. We ate in the bar in the evening too and have to mention the chips, which were homemade and just fab! All the staff were super, friendly and helpful, they made...
