We had dinner here last week, it never disappoints. The food is always tasty and a great selection. Staff were all very friendly and helpful and the views were fabulous. Looking forward to returning again in the Summer
I went in here for dinner today. I waited for over 20 minutes and still couldn't get served. It wasn't even that busy in there. Terrible service there.i ended up leaving and went somewhere else for dinner.
We stayed for 12 nights in a room that had fabulous views of the sea and Achill Island. The room was large and very comfortable. The hotel has a very good Dining room and a very lively bar area with live music on certain nights. This is the second time my wife and I have used this hotel and we were not disappointed. We are looking forward to our next visit. The staff commitment to customer service is clear from everyone that we came across and nothing was too much trouble for any of them. It was evident that worked together as a very effective team and are a credit to the hotel owners.
Visited this hotel this morning for breakfast. Took 30 minutes to place our order, and then only after calling the waitress over. A further 10 minutes later, still no tea or coffee served. The group next to us were just ordering when we were being seated. They had their food served and had finished eating before we managed to place our order. It wasn't even busy in there. Got up and walked out. Terrible service. Won't be going back
Just returned from a two night stay here and to say that we were disgusted is putting it mildly, the hotel is absolutely filthy inside and out with not even basic hygiene practices in place, The bedrooms are very very basic and dated and certainly not worth a fraction of what they are charging for them. We will certainly never return there again and would never recommend it to anyone.
Lovely restaurant offering choice of bar food or a fuller restaurant menu including specials. Great selection of food, cod fish cooked to perfection as was chicken Kiev, steak burger and the turkey with ham. We were a big party of people and the service was outstanding throughout the evening. Special shout out to Shauna for the warm welcome and quality service throughout the evening.
We came to this hotel for 4 nights in April, we had a family room that was amazing and very spacious with sea views, it was very clean and the lovely ladies that serviced our room couldn’t be more helpful. The management were very helpful and worked very hard to keep all there guests happy. Breakfast and dinner was amazing with generous portions and the waiting on staff were fabulous and would accommodate with food requests you had. We would highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay there again. Thank you Cathal and the team a fabulous holiday.
Stayed in the Achill island hotel and I have to say the staff are very friendly, the food is amazing and very reasonably priced too. Id highly recommend this hotel. The views of the island are breathtaking and totally out of this world. Check out Keem beach it’s a must place to visit.
The hotel located at the end of main land and very close to the Achill Island bridge. This hotel offers both sea view and non-sea view rooms. The rooms are decent size, cozy beds. The staffs are friendly and offers great help. Food and bar is good. Looking forward to visit them again.
I wouldn’t normally write a review but this hotel needs to seriously improve before the 2022 season starts.Stayed 17th March. No reception staff, had to go looking for someone to check us in.Our overpriced “seaview room” overlooked a run down storage area. The tv didn’t work.I’ve been in nursing homes with a better ambiance than the bar.The breakfast was an embarrassment to the term” full Irish breakfast “.A tablespoon of beans and half a slice of pudding.Staff wearing their own casual clothing creates a very unprofessional look.Outdoor car park in near complete darkness is dangerous and unwelcoming.Walls between bedrooms is wafer thin.
