Carmel and Charlie are the perfect hosts! My wife and I stayed for two wonderful evenings at the Ballingowan House. Very comfortable bed, quiet rooms, great shower and a choice of traditional or heart healthy breakfast. Part of our trip to Ireland was to visit the places of our ancestors. Carmel and Charlie know so much about the Newcastle West...

The owners were very kind, attentive and hospitable. We were given names of some restaurants in the area to try for dinner and the one we picked was excellent. The breakfast was very good..The room was very clean and comfortable. This B&B is highly recommandable.

This was by far the nicest accommodation we (my dad and me) stayed in during our six days in Ireland. This place is like a little dollhouse, with the owners (especially Carmel) being absolutely delightful. If you'd like to experience a comfortable night's sleep and morning in a simply adorable accommodation, away from the city with a nice breakfast included,...

And we didn't want to keep changing lodgings. This was just the right spot for coming home to each night. Carmel and Charlie made...

Words cannot express the hospitality that was provided by Carmel and Charlie. They were very kind, friendly and helpful. The breakfast was outstanding. While visiting Ireland it was my first time experiencing B&B's and since I am accustomed to staying in hotels that are very modern and up to date, the house was a little dated for my taste but...

I can't say enough thank you's for the hospitality that was shown to myself and my family when we stayed at Ballingowan house in the days leading up to my wedding in Feenagh last June. We all felt so at home. If I couldn't get ready for my wedding at home in the US, this was certainly the next best...

We stayed here as a bridal party and had the whole B and B to ourselves. Carmel and Charlie made us feel at home, and went out of there way to help with anything. There hospitality was excellent, I would highly recommend staying here.

Carmel and her husband were wonderful hosts. Breakfast was wonderful. The views were great out the back of the house. The garden looks just as it does in pictures. The showers had decent water pressure and the beds were comfy. My family stayed a few nights before my sister's wedding and Carmel allowed us to bring in hair and make up...
