Back from a one night break here, the whole experience was amazing from start to finish, raging we could only stay one night but I'm glad it was the first hotel we visited after lockdown and it has certainly set the standard very high. The staff are amazing and so friendly throughout the hotel, all welcome you when you meet them. The food was delicious from afternoon tea, to dinner to breakfast in the morning. Everything was so fresh and tasty and really good food. The surroundings of the hotel are beautiful and lovely walks to get out in the sunshine or there is a lovely out door seating area also available. Martina, Maggie, Mark and Michael are only a handful of the lovely team here. I have found my new favourite hotel to visit in Limerick. Thank you all at Castle Oaks hotel. 😊

Just back from a night away here and the whole experience was exactly what you would expect from a well run Irish hotel from the scenery around the hotel, to the interiors inside and especially the amazing welcoming staff they have working there. Martina welcomed us at reception and got us checked in so swiftly and a great welcome to the hotel. Had afternoon tea on arrival and was served by Maggie who just made it an absolute treat, she couldn't do enough for us and was so chatty and friendly. The afternoon tea was also delicious and amazing portions for two people. We went for a walk along by the river after which is beautiful and a fabulous extra to have located by the hotel. We of course had the most delicious pint of coors ever served by Gavin. They have a gorgeous outside seating area where you can enjoy your first pint after lockdown. Dinner in the evening was out of this world. The chicken wings, caesar salad, chicken burgers and the Eton mess were all equally beautiful. So so fresh. Chris and Mark were brilliant at dinner and would definetely recommend letting Mark whip you up some cocktails because they were delicious. The suite was also beautiful, so spacious, so clean and everything you could possibly ask for with the views. Michael checked us out at reception and was so nice to meet happy and cheerful staff through the hotel. There were loads more but I missed some of their names but from working in hotels for years and knowing the welcome and greeting I would give to customers the staff here really set the bar high and you just couldn't fault a single one of them. I will 100% be coming back and I am so glad this was my first choice hotel after lockdown to stay in. Thank you all 😊 also if you are in to art this hotel has some amazing pieces and from seeing them making some changes this is something they are very passionate about. Really enjoyed looking at the beautiful pieces through out the hotel.

A school friend and I celebrated the re-opening of hotels with a night at the lovely Castle Oaks Hotel. We were very impressed with the precautions taken - automatic temperature taking at the entrance, sanitiser at every table, all staff masked, disposable cups in room- and the high standard of hygiene generally. It felt safe. We followed the river from the wonderful grounds of the hotel to the "Worral's End", a beautiful walk through litter free lanes. We refreshed ourselves with drinks in the gardens amply supplied with furniture, addressed the worked up appetites with a lovely bar food meal, and very relaxed, chatted our hearts out. Breakfast next morning was generous, cooked to order, and very tasty.

Stayed there for 2 nights last year as part of one leg of a staycation. The highlight was the excellent bar food and breakfast and the friendly service. Covid restrictions meant that the pool had to be booked in advance and there was no room cleaning. The hotel has probably seen better days. The room itself was modest particularly the bathroom and the 'fairy garden' is a bit oversold. Overall though the stay represented good value for money
