A very nice B&B right along the Wicklow Way. About a 20 minute walk from Glendalough. There's a good restaurant about a 10 minute walk away. Everything is new, clean, and very nice, especially the lovely common room. Perhaps not quite as friendly as many Irish B&Bs but very comfortable.

It's a fine place to stay. The rooms are nice and spacious, the beds are really comfortable and breakfast is homemade. We recommend the pancakes 😊 Restaurants are about 15 mins walk away, but there are no lights on your way home, so if you don't feel comfortable you better take a car.

We spent a weekend recently at Pinewood Lodge. Friday night when we arrived Mary greeted us warmly and showed us to our rooms. The rooms were lovely and cosy, nicely decorated and the en-suite bathrooms really clean with plenty of towels and warm water. That night we sat out in the lounge in front of the fire going through our...

We had a really enjoyable stay at Pinewood Lodge with our walking group recently. Michael and Mary offer an extremely warm welcome, comfortable rooms and a truly delicious breakfast. Glendalough is a walkers paradise and Pinewood Lodge is very well located to give access to this (5 mins to the Wicklow Way). Its proximity to Laragh Village is fantastic too...

We stayed one night at this Bed and Breakfast at Glendalough, Wicklow, Ireland. It was set back off the road and was very quiet indeed. The host Mary was very friendly and she along with Michael, prepared a great traditional Irish breakfast for us. The room was clean and well appointed and the bed comfortable . This was our first...

We stayed at the Pinewood Lodge for two nights and Mary and Michael were wonderful hosts. There was a large room (with beautiful flowers) where we sat in the evening and shared stories with the other guests. Mary put together a boxed lunch which we enjoyed on our hike on the Wicklow way enroute to Roundtree. The Lodge is mere...

My girlfriend and I were on a 8-day-roundtrip through Irelands south and this was one of our first B&Bs. It is located near the beautiful Glendalough National Park with its marvellous walking trails. A wonderful restaurant, the Wicklow Heather Restaurant, is in 5 minute walking distance from the Lodge. The double-bed room is spacious and has an extra bathroom which...

We loved starting off our trip to Ireland here! It's very close to a Wicklow National Park, which has amazing walks. Our host was very helpful and suggested a great place to eat. We would definitely recommend this place to others.
