My husband and I chose to go on our honeymoon several years after the wedding. Wicklow was not on the original itinerary but after looking at several pictures it was a must for us. I was able to coordinate with John last minute to book a three day stay in October. The accommodation was one of the best we had...

Deidre and John run a fine place in this lovely area of the Wicklows. The rooms are large with a table and chair, excellent television and Internet, roomy bathroom and comfortable bed. Breakfast was delicious with multiple choices. The hosts offer innumerable suggestions for the recreational activities of the area.

Superb hot powerful shower after climbing Lug/ Excellent breakfast. Lovely house, calm wall colours and tasteful furniture. Toasty room on arrival. The only minus was that the bed clothes came loose easily as sheets and blankets seemed too small for the bed and we woke up cold during the night. Duvets might be a better solution or larger sheets to...

Stayed for two nights (31st July and 1st August) and found it to be an excellent wee B&B. Down for the walking and found it very accommodating. Easy excess to the village and a short walk to Lower Glendalough. Deirdre was very help with everything we requested and the breakfast was excellent. Same can be said for John, very friendly...

We recently stayed in Riverside during a brief walking trip in Wicklow. The stay was made by the warm welcome we received from John & Deidre, who were super hosts. We only decided to go the day before we travelled but my inquiry through Wicklowway.com was promptly responded to by John, who also reassured me my wife's coeliac dietary needs...

Deirdre was very understanding when we arrived late due to traffic ahead of us getting stuck in a snow drift in the Wicklow Mountains and blocking the road. We stayed 1 night during April 2013 and wished our stay could have been much longer. We received a very warm welcome from Deirdre on our arrival who also provided helpful advice...

Unlike the previous ten nights we had spent in South West Ireland, we hadn't booked a b&b in Laragh as we weren't quite sure we would have the time to visit Glendalough on our way back to Dublin and our flight back to France. We feared we might not be able to stick to our schedule. So it was quite...
