We had a lovely overnight in The Bungalows at Heather House fab meal in the restaurent and blessed with lovely sunshine. Rooms are lovely but I would suggest glasses, plates and dustpan should be available for the kitchen in the house. Staff are very helpful and friendly in the restaurent

Travelling with our family of 4 (2 adult children) summer 2014 we had 2 chalets behind the main building. They each had a wonderful patio with tables and chairs (we were surrounded by birds singing). Beds were comfortable, sitting area was cozy, and just down the road was a wonderful restaurant. Having our room ready for an early arrival and...

I stayed here last weekend with a group of friends for two nights. It is a beautiful quaint place to stay. The chalets were spotless, the bed super comfortable. One small negative....my pillow was very hard and uncomfortable. The food was excellent and while the restaurant was quite busy we were seated quite quickly. Betty and her team were very...

We stayed for a long weekend so we could walk around Glendalough. We wanted a twin room and we were given a family room in a separate block in the back garden - the second bed was a single bed tucked in a walled off area of the sitting area. The room was adequate - water was hot for showers....

We loved our evening at the Heather House. Firstly, the place itself is clean and pleasantly furnished. There is a sitting room with books and tea that is wonderful and relaxing. The room has a lily in it and smelled very nice. Secondly, the B&B is located steps from the Wicklow Heather Restaurant, which serves great food. My review for...

Cannot say enough good things about this place! My friend and i knocked on the door at 10pm hoping for a room, not only did we get a lovely cottage style room (with all the comforts you could need) but the owners then asked the chef to stay on shift and make some dinner for us!!! We walked next door...

This is our second time to say in Heather House and our first time to do a review. It’s a lovely bungalow set in the beautiful village of Laragh, which is not far from Glendalough. There was plenty of free parking when we were there, but this would depend on the time of year. Laragh is always busy, and is...

The Heather House is more or less beside The Wicklow Heather bar/restaurant and is owned by the same family. The rooms and general accomodation are very pleasant, mini-fridge, hairdryer, and reasonably priced, with helpful owners and staff. Nice size rooms, very clean, and a lovely view from the rooms at the back. You can access teas and (instant) coffee in...

Our room, #8 I think it was, is in the back of the main building and elevated above the guest cottages below. The room (more like a suite or apartment) was huge, with a nice sitting area, mini-kitchen, private bedroom, single bedroom off the sitting area, and large bathroom. The view of the Wicklow Mountains from the deck outside our...
