Wow!!! A stunning place to stay! We had a family room and access to two shared sitting and a dining area and the entre place was opulent! It was more like an Italian villa than a Wicklow hotel. The entire place was immaculately clean and everything we needed was at hand - almost. As we were hiking the Wicklow Way early morning starts are preferable and breakfast wasn't served until late (I think it was 9:30am) so we missed breakfast and had to eat elsewhere. However we did eat at Heather House restaurant the night before and had a wonderful meal which we all really enjoyed and we all said we'd be happy to go back again.
Stayed in one of the chalets, sleeps up to five persons. However we booked two persons per chalet. The chalets were decorated to a high standard, toiletries, ample towels, bed linen was top quality, warm and comfortable. Booking was for room only with optional breakfast served in the nearby restaurant. The outdoor area had garden furniture and gardens to sit out and enjoy. We were lucky with the weather and enjoyed some time outside. These chalets were spotless with plentiful supply of milk, and coffee capsules for Nespresso machine. Staff were friendly and available if required. This is by far one of the best rental accommodation I have stayed in years. Thank you to all concerned.
Heather House is conveniently located close to Glendalough (3min drive) and Wicklow Heather Restaurant within walking distance (shuttle available). Accommodation was ideal and very comfortable. Wifi and parking available. Loved the overall setup and sunroom. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
Had a fantastic midweek 2 night stay at Heather House B&B. The staff very friendly right from our arrival. The room was very clean with plenty of space for the three of us. As a family room inside Heather House it was lovely to be able to enjoy one of three lounges and a small kitchen area with free access to tea and coffee making facilities. Breakfast each morning was a very short walk to Wicklow Heather Restaurant, which was lovely. An outdooor, courtyard makes a love area to sit in if you don't want to go far in nice weather. At the restaurant the staff again were very friendly, and the food was a fantastic start to our day with great variety. We also had dinner there each evening it was so good. We will definitely be back!
My Wife and had the pleasure of staying in this cosy B&B recently. We enjoyed great night sleep and a hot shower before delicious breakfast. The staff in Heather House and the Wicklow Heather restaurant could not have been more helpful, we would highly recommend this B&B,especially to those in need of cosy place to stay after a long day of hiking in stunning scenery. We will definitely be back!
