This was a lovely b&b with the owners going above and beyond to sort out any problems and help us out, very basic facilities and simple decorations but the things that matter were done very well, bed was incredibly comfortable, place was very clean and a good filling breakfast that set you up for the day!
A lovely stay in a comfy, homely b&b, run by the wonderful Siobhan and ably assisted by the splendid Kieran. Butler's is perfectly situated on a quiet green a 10 minute walk from the harbour. The room was charming, very clean and comfortable, with a great en-suite with bath/shower. Breakfast was scrumptious and set us up for a days exploring around Greystones, which is a beautiful, interesting place with lots to see and do and yes, some fabulous pubs! What made our stay so good was the welcome. Butler's B&B really felt like a home from home and we felt so so relaxed that we cannot wait to go back!
This is the first time we try a b&b in Ireland and it will not be the last! Thanks to Siobhan and Kieran we had the most lovely stay in Greystones, which is a lovely town. Our room had a great en suite with a tub. Nice and roomy and spotless. The double bed is a queen size by US standards. Must remember that for next time. Siobhan and Kieran serves a good solid breakfast. They provide you with useful tips for your stay. I was able to keep provisions in their fridge because of my allergies. I have no doubt we will return to this lovely piece of Ireland!
This is a charming b&b situated in a delightful part of Greystones and within a genuine 10 minutes walk from the coast. We were made to feel very welcome and it seemed as if we had known Siohban Butler for ever ! Two of her paintings graced the walls in the dining room adding that little bit extra. Our room overlooked the huge green outside and the sunshine on the white houses made the area somewhat Spanish. The bed was comfortable and the hanging space more than adequate. Breakfast was enjoyable especially the tea ! We were allowed to come and go a we pleased with no time restriction on late night entry - we were generally in by 10:30pm anyway. Our stay in Greystones was brief - just three days- but this lovely little jewel made our visit seem like a home from home. Beware Siohban.......we'll be back soon !👍…
This is a lovely B and B very central and the staff are so lovely really felt at home! Parking available and wifi! Cudnt fault Anythin only the walls were very thin and didn't sleep much but was only because the family sleepin next door to me were very loud! The bed was lovely and comfy rooms were a bit dated but immaculate! Great place to stay and very friendly
Me and my friend visited Ireland during St. Patrick's Day and of course we had to stay at Butlers B&B. They are so helpful and nice at this place. The pricing rate is good compared to the others in Greystones. It's located perfectly, close to the transport to the airport ( 200metera from the air coach that runs every hour of the day). If you're coming with the dart just call them and they will pick you up in a car. Ask them if you want to borrow the microwave or oven so you don't have to go out and eat at a restaurant every day. Is there anything else you're wondering, ask them. They will tell you all the things that's good to know about the country or city. The bathrooms could use a little bit of a refreshment, but that is all. I'm definitely gonna stay there the next time and the next time after that when I'm in Ireland. 4.5/ 5 stars. Definitely recommended! :D …
During our three weeks in Ireland we stayed at 13 B&Bs. This place in Greystones was the first and we rate it as better accommodation than our average experience. Very kind and helpful hosts. Rooms simple but okay. The Bathroom may need a trim in the near future. The price for the room was at average level. Yes, we would recommend a visit when being asked.
This guy quoted me €50 for bed and breakfast. When i arrived he told me that breakfast would be €15 extra !!!!!!! €65 for bed and breakfast in a 1 star b&b located in a run down housing estate. I dont think so Mr Rip Off Merchant. He also rudely slammed the door in my face when I questioned the sudden rate of inflation. You have been warned. Steer well clear of this cowboy. There are other more friendly and welcoming premises locally that offer cleaner accommodation with lovely views of the Irish Sea and all for €45. Butlers b&b is definitely one to avoid.
Only stayed one night for a wedding in Trudder Lodge which was about 20mins away. The owner was very welcoming and even dropped us to collect our car the following morning which was really appreciated. The room was very clean and perfect for what we wanted.
B&B's near the docks and the city centre with many restaurants, the woman who welcomed us looks a bit weird but we saw her just for few minutes. The room's big and it's one of the cleanest we saw during our holiday, if we want to grim a defect maybe there's a lack of table to put our little staff (phone, camera, tourist's guide...) Breakfast is continental and good, the man is avaiable and tries to satisfy all the demands. He's talkative but very nice and he loves Italy, so italians if you pass in the nearby pop in!
