Overlooking the harbour ..... great location. Lots of lovely places to eat within a (very) short stroll .... well will be ... when lockdown is over ! LOL Lovely, comfortable, old fashioned guesthouse - best to ring & book - owner doesn't really do emails ! Does have decent wifi - but ask for code on way in .... code not displayed in the room.... (if you forget to ask - the code is on a card downstairs by the old fashioned radiogram). Modern technology not high on their priority list ! This would be a lovely place to stay and catch the Luas into Dublin each day. Bray to Greystones walk from here as well.

Had a fantastic 3 night stay here last weekend- loved it so much I even decided to extend. The photos on the website do not do this place justice at all and I admit I was a little hesitant especially with the encouragement to book over the phone etc. Everything was great. Had a large, spacious room overlooking the harbour within a minute' walk of the beach and less than 5 minutes' from all of Greystones many gorgeous eating outlets as well as the DART station. Room was clean, water was hot, shower pressure was good. Can't really fault it. Just be aware that there are no credit card facilities so cash only. Also, no breakfast is being provided during these Covid times. Still, there are so many amazing places to eat in Greystones, I barely noticed this inconvenience. It is nothing short of a travesty that this bed and breakfast hasn't more reviews on TripAdvisor. If I am ever back in Greystones (and I certainly hope to be), I would not consider anywhere else.

We stayed here MANY years ago and hoped to rediscover the magic of Greystones. We were somewhat successful with our latest stay at this now vintage B&B. Pippins continues to deliver a place to escape. The inn itself is as it was, very well maintained, frozen in time. That said, Greystones has since become a coastal suburb of Dublin. All you need to do is gaze at the harbour and downtown to witness the real time change. The little holiday beachy town is now a vibrant community with surfside condos coming soon. Dining options aplenty with the quiet Slievemore Guesthouse providing a haven in the middle of it all. Pippins prefers bookings via email and cash payment for services so those who rely on digital travel metods will need to plan accordingly. Why choose Slievemore over other inns? It captures the traditional experience. It's a respite among the bustle yet it's location is and will most certainly continue to be SUPERIOR. Harbourside views, walk to beach, stroll to dinner, hop the train to downtown Dublin + day trips to many countryside sights. Perfect travel hub.

One of the best places I've ever stayed in. The owner was sitting outside waiting for us to arrive and was one of the kindest people I've ever met. The breakfast was great also, made fresh when we came to the kitchen. We even talked with the owners for awhile about the history/future of the area. Would love to come back and stay here again!
