Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.

I Don’t think my words can do justice to the amazing experience we had at Rathsallagh for our daughter’s recent wedding. From start to finish everything was superb. The bridal prep room set the standard for the day that continued. It was lovely to get ready in such a relaxed and beautiful area. There was dancing and singing before my daughter even walked down the aisle of the gorgeous Granary. The wonderful staff looked after everything and made us feel like all we had to do was turn up!! The venue and accommodation is stunning and so many of our guests commented on how they had been to many weddings but this venue really topped them all. It is such a luxurious, yet homely place and the food served was fabulous. You can taste the pride that the chef takes in what he offers. I can’t compliment the staff at Rathsallagh highly enough. The lovely staff at breakfast (which was also first rate). The reception staff, the bar staff, the waiting team and our coordinator Benny, were all the kindest, friendliest people you could meet and really couldn’t do enough for us and made us feel so at home, which having the exclusivity of the venue really did make it feel like it was our home for the weekend! At the end of the day having happy guests is what makes a wedding memorable and our guests couldn’t have been happier. They, along with us had such a fabulous experience. I actually can’t recommend Rathsallagh any more highly. Thank you for an amazing wedding weekend.

What an amazing find!! We are just back from a totally relaxing weekend at Rathsallagh. We had dinner in the fine dining restaurant on both nights and the food was out of this world. A lovely personal touch were the free newspapers at breakfast (it’s not often you can sit by the fire and read the newspaper in tranquillity) and breakfast itself was outstanding, probably one of the best Hotel breakfasts we have ever had.. We had stayed in the Blue Room, and it had a bath in the bedroom itself! Along with a double shower in the bathroom. We are returning to stay at Rathsallagh for the Punchestown festival, they have a coach to and from Punchestown every day with a drink’s reception in the owners and trainer’s car park before racing, and access to the Rathsallagh box. Forgot to mention the grounds themselves, such peaceful surroundings with an amazing walled garden and golf course on the periphery (we wouldn’t be golfers, so we did not partake) We are really looking forward to coming back for the racing at Punchestown now.

We went for an overnight plus dinner. We stayed in Dovecote room which is the biggest room I've ever stayed in, it had a lovely view of fields and hills and was decorated very tastefully. There were chocs and a welcome note which was a lovely touch. The bathroom was huge and had both double ended bath and enormous shower, again with a lovely view. Our dining experience was faultless, the food was exceptional and service exemplary. I can say that the breakfast is the best I have ever eaten, taking over from the cliffhouse for the best eggs Benedict !! We aim to return ASAP!!!

We have just left Rathsallagh after another gorgeous stay! We got married in Rathsallagh a year ago so returned for our anniversary and had the most amazing time! All of the staff are unbelievable. So friendly and welcoming. Andrea and Avril in particular stood out this time round and the new bar man Finn kept me ordering some amazing cocktails all night. People still comment on how amazing our wedding food was and this weekend was no exception. The food blew us away again. We will definitely be returning to Rathsallagh for future Leisure Nights! 😊🤩

We are just leaving Rathsallagh House after a beautiful night's stay. We got married here last Christmas and it was so special to come back. We thought the service at our wedding couldn't have been topped but we were wrong. Nothing is too much for the staff in Rathsallagh who take pride in ensuring that the guest has the best time possible. Special mention to ZaraMay, Andrea and Nicky who looked after us so well. We're already looking forward to coming back!

Lovely overnight stay in this country house. Our bedroom was a very comfortable suite. Dinner that evening and breakfast the next morning were excellent. The owners and staff were very welcoming which made for a very relaxing stay. There are two comfortable rooms to relax and sit by the fire.

We had our wedding at Rathsallagh House. We cannot speak highly enough about the venue. We were sold the minute we set foot on the grounds for our first visit. Joe, Catherine and all the team at Rathsallagh were incredibly helpful throughout the whole planning process right up until the big day. Such friendly, professional staff that were so on top of everything. We didn't have to lift a finger on our wedding day which meant we got to spend more time with our guests than we had anticipated! The food was the nicest we have ever had, and they looked after our vegan guests by printing their own menu which was such a nice touch. We had a 2 day wedding and they truly made the place feel like home for those 2 days which was exactly what we wanted. Our guests loved their rooms, and are still raving about it three weeks on, and we already can't wait to come back for a visit!

Amazing setting, beautiful area with about 500 acres ground including the golf course, amazing staff, really friendly and helpful. Very spacious rooms, nice restaurant, amazing wedding venue. Would got 5 stars if it had all the amenities of a 5 star hotel (considering the price) such as minibar and shoe polishing machine (very useful if attending a wedding)

Rathsallagh really is a special place and we will be forever grateful to them for giving us the most perfect wedding day in August 2023. When we first visited Rathsallagh in July 2021, the owner Joe gave us the tour, we knew straight away that it was the venue for us. Two years later when it came to our wedding day, it still absolutely exceeded our expectations! The staff are what make Rathsallagh so special, they go above and beyond and have all details thought of before you even get to ask. The wedding team responded quickly to all our questions throughout the planning process and we have to note Aoife in the reservations team who helped us with the room allocations and made the process very easy. On the morning of our wedding, our coordinator Kellie was amazing and made sure we were well taken care of, that we had a really relaxing time getting ready and she kept us on track for the day. Throughout the day, all the staff were so attentive and friendly and always had big smiles on their faces. In particular, Rose and Avril on reception were so kind to us and had great fun with all our guests. Our family and friends commended Rathsallagh so highly in all their feedback to us, they especially noted the gorgeous food, the beautiful grounds, the helpful staff and the wonderful rooms. To us this was so important and we were thrilled that our guests noticed all the details that were so important to us for our wedding day. For this we can’t thank Rathsallagh enough, they really gave us our dream wedding day! We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Rathsallagh to other couples seeking a wedding venue.
