My daughter and myself stayed overnight on our way to Wexford and were really impressed by all the Old Coach House has to offer. What a beautiful and tranquil location with a comfortable and relaxing room. Barbara looked after us so well during our short stay. We hope to visit again.
What a gem! Check this place out! Barbara is a fantastic host. The hotel is small, but the rooms are gorgeous. The common area is very nice, and parking is no problem. No nighttime meals so we drove to Old Wooden Bridge not far. Breakfast in morning was an amazing menu and very delicious. Turns out we too couples had the place to ourselves, and it was quiet, lovely and best place we stayed in Ireland. Barbara was very gracious and we highly recommend The Old Coach House. Stay enjoy, we sure did. Thanks again, Barbara
I was visiting the area with a friend, and we were charmed by The Old Coach House from the moment we received Barbara's warm welcome! The rooms were beautifully clean and nicely decorated, the breakfast was delicious, and we really enjoyed meeting the staff and other guests! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend staying here!
Well it is not really Avoca it is ‘Where the waters meet’ 4 km down the road. It does not have evening meals and is 4 km drive to a pub. Rooms are very small as is shower. Very welcoming hostess and very clean place. Be prepare to carry your bags up tight stairs. Off street Parking very convenient Very historic 1795? Only 4 tv channels to choose from - on occasions only one is watchable because of interference on other 3. Makes the choice easy! Lovely breakfast provided
