Stayed in this hotel for one night. The welcome was very friendly and the receptionist was conscientious in her work. The decor is a nice, and the rooms spacious enough. As there were 2 ads and 2ch in our party, really nice to see a room with 2 separate single beds either side of the double bed. The guest information...

Yet again another great night in the Ashdown park hotel. The 6 of us had a great evening. Can't get enough of this place from lolanda and Denise at reception to Sebastian in the restaurant ( he makes the best Irish coffee you will ever have ) and to the manager who couldn't do enough to accommodate our requests. The...

I spent three nights here with a friend in March. We didn't have to pay a single supplement for our double rooms which we appreciated. The rooms were everything we would have expected from a 4* hotel. Fully equipped, supplied with tea and coffee, and nice towels and standard toiletries. The Rown Tree restaurant lived up to our expectations and...

From the ladies at reception, to the waiting staff in the Rowan Tree restaurant on site, it is clear to see that keeping their guests happy are their main priority. As a student of hospitality and tourism management, it is great to be able to visit a...

Booked this hotel for one night as I was attending a local wedding the following day. The décor is a little outdated throughout. My room was on the 3rd floor facing the carpark - the curtains did not cover the entire window area so the light from the streetlights entered the room at night; as a bad sleeper this was...

Got a deal from escapes.ie for a one night stay including dinner with breakfast. Have to say it was a pleasure from start to finish when he stayed. Room was great and very spacious. The 2 course meal that night was glorious. Every aspect was exceptional. Breakfast was a buffet. You could have anything from full Irish, cereal and pancakes. Our...

Booked here for a family break after the amber springs was fully booked, and so glad we did, we had a great time, kids were really well looked after! We enjoyed a lovely afternoon tea and a beautiful 3 course meal that night. Beautiful hotel, and that staircase is out of this world! Fab
