Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.

Great location for weddings in Marlfied House and Seafield Hotel. Super breakfast. Very friendly couple running the b&b. Perfect room for overnight stay with private bathroom. Even got a lift back to Marlfied in the morning to collect my car! Will be going back for all future weddings in the area.

From the minute we arrived we were warmly welcomed by Monica and Pat. The B&B is easily located off the main road and very close to Marlfield House. They had lovely tea and scones ready for us before we headed off to a wedding. The B&B is large, spacious, clean and lovely. Beautiful food too. I would definitely recommend staying here.

I stayed with Monica and Pat after a recent family wedding and I thoroughly enjoyed my time there. The food was delicious and there was an excellent choice at breakfast. Pat went out of his way to help us with a puncture, we couldn't thank them enough for their help and local knowledge. I would recommend anyone to stay there. I would definitely go back.

A big thank you to Monica and her husband who looked after us so well when we took over the whole place while attending a wedding close by. They were very kind allowing us to check in early and also dropped us to our cars the next day, saving us having to get a taxi.

Rooms are very spacious and clean; and a lovely touch having water and snack bars on hand.

Tea and coffee throughout the day as well as fresh scones on arrival - what more can you ask for.

I would highly recommend this place and if I am ever down that way again I would not hesitate to stay!

Thank you!

Monica and Pat were incredible hosts. From the moment we set foot in the B&B they were so welcoming, we were pleasantly surprised when they brought out tea and scones on our arrival as we were famished!Their B&B is fantastic, clean, comfortable and spacious. There was a great choice for breakfast and the salmon and scrambled eggs were to die for! I'll definitely be back and will spread the word about this wonderful couple and their beautiful home

We stayed with Monica and Pat for a Marlfield House wedding. Location-wise, the B&B is within walking distance of Marlfield - it's about 1 mile, with a footpath for most of the way. The B&B is huge, with loads of space for car parking and beautifully maintained gardens. Since it's a fair bit off the main road, the only sounds we heard were birds chirping, which is always nice! The rooms are spacious and spotless. Bathrooms are a reasonable size, and the shower was great - that's often a personal bugbear for B&Bs! Monica and Pat are excellent hosts, with lots of tourist information available to guests, and we were really impressed with breakfast. You should definitely try the home-made brown bread and scones! Would stay here again, and would recommend.

We booked this B&B as we were going to a wedding in a nearby hotel and wanted value for money and we certainly found it here. We were greeted and shown to our room, offered tea/coffee. We were told we could leave our cars at the hotel after the wedding and they would take us to collect it in the morning which I thought was very nice of them.

Room was lovely very spacious and clean.

Breakfast was beautiful, so tasty loads of everything, my hubby is still talking about the lovely brown bread!

Excellect place to stay great food, great staff, great price. Would definately go back again.

Stayed here for a single night while in Wexford for a family wedding. The hosts couldnt have been more welcoming and even dropped me back to the hotel to meet my lift back to Dublin the next day.

Other than that, my room was large for the price (55e), immaculately clean and with a great shower. The breakfast was also excellent with a great full irish, coffee, cereals, freshly squeezed juice and homemade bread. I would highly recommend staying here for anyone visiting the area

Hi all....Myself and my wife stayed here Thursday 10th of July as we were attending a wedding not too far away from here...We were greeted at the door by Pat and Monica..[what a warm welcome they both gave us]...The property is beautiful and set in a very relaxing surrounding area.....its actually hard to believe you are only a very short distance away from Gorey town....From the moment you come through the front door you will quickly realize that you are in a property that has been maintained to a very high standard.....The room was bright and spacious...[Great Shower]...Breakfast was fantastic and beautiful scones also available....To Finish ...It is very easy to see why this bed and breakfast is voted the best in Gorey....In my honest opinion it is probably one of the best in the country.....Derek....Dublin
