I recently travelled to Gorey with my partner for a family event and had the absolute pleasure to stay with Martina in her wonderful home. Everything about the stay felt like a boutique level of service. The gardens are simply stunning and the perfect surroundings on a sunny day to relax in company with.

The room was of superior quality, it was clear that it gets ample attention on a daily basis with it's plush carpets, pleated cutains and spotless en suite. You couldn't find as much as a blemish.

Breakfast was served overlooking the gardens and while our mornings where dampened by poor weather that didn't diminish from the experience. The table layout was highligted by the decorative napkin rings, to me it just displayed a total attention to detail. Breakfast offerings when provided on a bespoke menu card. Whether the traditional full Irish or just an ample choice of fresh fruit tickled your fancy it was available.

I can't compliment my stay enough and should I get the chance to stay at Carraig View again I shall definitely take up the opportunity. I suggest if you get the chance, you shouldn't let it pass

This comfortable BnB is well worth a four star rating. We were warmly welcomed on arrival by the owner Martina & shown to a comfortable room with lovely bedding & very large soft towels. The only disappointment perhaps was that this particular room was not en suite & we had to trek down the hallway to the bath room.
The Irish breakfast was delicious & served by very friendly staff. All this plus ample parking at the bungalow in a quiet loction surrounded by a lovely garden within easy reach of Gorey town made our three nght stay most enjoyable.

Having been let down by a late cancellation of a booking elsewhere, I turned up at this B & B on the recommendation of a friend who has a bookshop in Gorey. Luckily there was a room available, and having been nervous about finding somewhere at such short notice it was a great relief to be welcomed into this home. It certainly deserves its four-star rating. The room was immaculate with all the facilities one would expect, including a TV that had some UK digital stations. The host made me feel very welcome, and as I drive a rather large 4x4 it was good to find adequate parking space. Breakfast was beautifully presented; I had scrambled eggs, which came with a sprig of parsley and two artistically arranged stems of chives. The coffee was ace, too. Ballycale is just a short drive from the thriving town of Gorey, and an even shorter distance from the N11 motorway from Dublin to Enniscorthy. Definitely worth a detour: highly recommended.

Best B & B I have ever stayed in.
Martina has thought of absolutely everything.
Electric blanket, blinds above the door to block out hall lights, beautiful decor, cleanliness excellent, spacious accommodation, comfortable beds, two double beds in the twin room, our lamp was turned on to welcome us back in the evening and the curtains had been drawn, nothing was too much trouble, fabulous breakfast, great views, access to a lounge so great comfort,
Great location and set up. Couldn't fault the place.
Would highly recommend this and wouldn't hesitate to return.

Room Tip: Any of the rooms are fine, even if you share a bathroom. The bathroom is huge and spotlessly clean.

On arrival greeted most welcoming, ambiance just beautiful, room was very impressive, attention to visitors needs amazing. Would highly recommend, and will definitely be back. Location ideal when travelling south east. Gorey being such a bustling town with so much to do, good to return to such a very comforting space to unwind.
