We had a fantastic experience staying at Flynns for two nights thanks to the lovely Sandra and her family who made our stay so enjoyable and memorable. The house and grounds are really lovely and the family were so friendly and helpful that we would love to go back and can't recommend staying there enough. There were 8 of us in total for a friend's wedding in Lismore and we were treated so well, delicious breakfast each morning and the family were so laid back about checking out that we felt really at home. They even drove us to collect our cars the next day and couldn't have been more accommodating to us, we were able to come and go when we pleased. The rooms and house were very clean and there was loads of space. The gardens are gorgeous as well. Its a really nice, old-fashioned house with loads of character and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.…
This is a lovely old guest house, run by a warm and caring family. It delivers old fashioned comfort, and though a little dated can hardly be beaten for service. There is nothing the family wouldn't do within reason to ensure your stay is a great one. The breakfasts are wonderful, and the area is fantastically scenic, with so much to see: Ardmore and St Declan's Cathedral ruins and tower, Lismore castle and lovley town, the Blackwater river is superb, Melleray Abbey is a peaceful getaway, and the Knockmealdopwn Mountains provide breathtaking views and walks. Plus the Booley House 10 Kms away is a fantastic Irish Folk Club to visit.
