We offer 6 first-class spacious rooms, all en-suite with all the facilities you would expect such as central heating, cable TV, daily housekeeping. We also have our own restaurant seating 15 people. There is sure to be something for everyone on our broad menu, and we are happy to cater for parties. The Toby Jug Bar is a well-known country pub with beer-garden serving a good range of draught and bottled beers, spirits, wines, teas, coffees and soft drinks. Our 8 foot big screen TV is also well known throughout the area We would be delighted to extend you a true Irish welcome to our Bed and Breakfast for a stay of any length.

I stayed@The Toby Jug for 2nights while walking the St Declan pilgrim path. Mary was very helpful in every way. She organised lifts for me to the starting point ( thanks Mick!) and brought my car forward to the end point in Ardmore. She didn't want or accept any extra money for this. It was Meitheal. I had most of my meals here and Mary gave me generous lunch packs. B&B; evening meals and lunch packs came in at a very reasonable rate. I was very happy staying here & will be back please God. And that will be my Meitheal. Stay well Mary; Andrew; Mick everyone else.

Fantastic stay at this place. Lovely welcoming hosts. Andrew is a lovely fella and can’t do enough for you. The locals in the bar were very friendly and great fun. Breakfast was amazing, cooked to order and all produce from local farms. The room was spotless with a really comfy bed and top class duvet. I never sleep in and had to drag myself out of bed at 10 o’clock to go for brekkie. It’s a yes from me and would I go again? Oh yes, can’t wait!

I was very unhappy with how I was treated after my four year old daughter needed to go to the toilet and one of the owners of this establishment took the side of a long term customer over common sense. At four years of age in a foreign country she is the same as any child of her age - terrified of going into a toilet alone. I’ve spoken to a lot of people since this incident and every single one think the treatment I got was absurd and undeserved.

We fished the Blackwater for a week and were happy to find a typical Irish welcoming b/b. Mary and Andrew made us feel at home. The local fishermen were very helpful even setting up our tackle for us!

I was in Cappoquin during November and stayed a few nights in the Toby Jug. The craic in the bar was excellent and the rooms were clean and comfortable. There is a real homely feel to the place and the owners really try to look after you. Breakfast was tasty and always cooked to order. Very impressive service, thanks again! M
