The B&B is very clean and comfortable. Great position close to mount Benbulben. Wonderful views also to the sea that is just at 15 minutes walk. Food in great: if you're lucky you may find fresh homemade rhubarb compote at breakfast

We most look forward to returning to Rowanville Lodge when we visit Ireland (6 times in 8 years). The setting is fantastic with an amazing view of the huge, mysterious, geologically fascinating mountain, Ben Bulben, from the large sunny breakfast room. It is climbable (can be done in an afternoon), and charming, friendly hosts Pat and Mattie Hoey can direct...

Rowanville Lodge was everything I look for in a B&B--spanking clean, with comfy, well-appointed rooms, delicious and lavish breakfast, warm-hearted hostess who was most helpful about local attractions, and an unbeatable view of Ben Bulben. I'd love to go back again!

I enjoyed every moment of my stay. I felt very welcome and was provided with many very good ideas of both destinations for day trips and best restaurants nearby. The place is very cosy and so are the rooms. But the highlight for me just is the breakfast room on the front porch/in the sunroom. It has amazing views to...

Pat greeted us and was very helpful and informative about the area as to what to see and the best places to eat. Our room was very clean and comfortable and warm - it was unusually chilly this April. Great location, flexible and good choices for breakfast.

Patricia is extremely friendly and welcoming. The bedroom and bathroom were spacious and spotless. Small touches made it very homely - the electric blanket and extra bacon and egg for my husband at breakfast.

We stayed with Patricia for one night on our way from Galway to Northern Ireland. The B&B was very nice, clean, breakfast was delicious, but most of all the hospitality was the best! Patricia was so friendly, informative and interesting to talk to. Would highly recommend a stay here! A few minutes drive to restaurants/pubs, Mullaghmore harbor, and Benbulben mountain....
