We just stayed one night but it was lovely. Check in was easy and fast. Room was comfortable although lacking tea and coffee facilities. Bar and food was tasty. Went to the spa but it’s worth remembering your swim hat as you can’t use the pool without one. €3 for a hat.

I couldn't fault the place. The room was spotless and comfortable, a standard double room but with plenty of space even in the bathroom. The receptionist was friendly and very helpful. The bar food was amazing and the bar staff were also exceptional. The atmosphere was very relaxed. We had a nice sea view across the bay. The hotel is only 4k from the beautiful Rosses Point and even closer to Sligo town. I would highly recommend the Radisson Blu Hotel Sligo. We are already planning to return again.

From the moment we arrived until we checked out we experienced nothing but exceptional friendly service. Our late check in was a breeze with Livu. When we got to our room we were so happy with how spacious it was, and so clean. Amazing job from the housekeeping team. The beds are very comfortable and we need to find out where the pillows and duvet are from so we can get some because they are great. We might need to find out about the mattresses too 😀All combined meant a great nights sleep. Breakfast was wonderful. There was everything you could want and more. And the selection of teas…..so good. Each member of the breakfast team were on hand and so happy to help with anything we needed. Apart from the traditional Irish breakfast choices, there was a wide selection of cereals, fruit, meats and cheeses. We could also request anything from a pot of tea (instead of a mug) to pancakes, omelettes or poached eggs. There was also a selection of gluten free bread and cereals with dedicated toaster and alternative milks. And honestly, the mini Custard pastry tarts were delicious! Still dreaming about them. There was a vending machine on our hotel room floor with a nice selection of treats. There was also a shoe polisher, and this came in very handy for us. One evening we had a meal in the bar. Again the service was fantastic and the food was absolutely delicious. We went for the vegan curry (but added chicken) and also the chicken and champ. Portion sizes were generous. Our waiter was very friendly, as were all the waiting staff that came to our table. The Radisson is located in a very scenic area on the way to Rosses Point. Walking around the grounds of the hotel you can’t help but stop and take in the magnificent views of Sligo from every direction. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend as a place to stay in Sligo. Thank you Radisson staff!

Such a relaxing stay from start to finish! Agata checked us in right away and was incredibly friendly and helpful. We were treated very kindly by Matthew Connolly, Guest Experience Manager. Our room was amazing and the view from the balcony was beautiful. The bed was very comfortable and the room was spotless. It was really quiet, we did not hear a sound all night. We used the swimming pool facilities and really enjoyed the facilities - hot tub, sauna and steam room. Breakfast was excellent - lots to choose from and everything was delicious. We keep coming back to the Radisson Blu Hotel at Sligo, indeed, we have already booked another break there! Thanks again to Agata and Matthew for making our stay even more special. Paul & Jo.

We stayed here for a few nights and with the exception of one offensively grumpy barman, all of the staff were very friendly, hospitable, happy and professional. We thoroughly enjoyed our breakfasts and evening dinners in the hotel's relaxing restaurant. Having an after-dinner nightcap in the bar while being entertained by local musicians was very nice too. And watching happy, tipsy residents comically dancing to the music was a happy experience. Unfortunately, we were denied entry to the bar one mid-week evening as it was closed until 11pm, at which time it opened for an all-night wedding party. Our sleep was disturbed that night due to loud drunks and noisy children wandering through the hotel corridors until about 6am. So I can only give the hotel a generous 4-star rating.

Myself, my husband and our three children stayed here in December for one night and the service we received was amazing from start to finish. I rang a few hours before checking in and spoke to Matthew, one of the managers, to see if we could book dinner. He asked if there was a special occasion that we were celebrating and I told him that it was my birthday. He then kindly offered a complimentary drink for both my husband and I with our dinner. We were kept busy during dinner trying to keep our active toddler entertained and we were taking turns watching her in the reception area during the first part of our meal. One of the lovely cleaning ladies saw us and offered a buggy which is kept at reception and she wasn't long falling asleep in the buggy, letting us enjoy the rest of our dinner in peace! Our booking was 2 rooms to cater to all five of us and I assumed that we would be separated for the night as that has been our experience the last few times we have stayed in hotels as a family of five. I was delighted to find out that our two rooms were connected by a door in the middle. I was even happier when i saw that Matthew had arranged for chocolate to be left in the room as another birthday treat! The rooms were also lovely, spacious and clean. We slept in later than we intended the next morning as our toddler was teething and not in great form during the night so we had our breakfast (great selection of food and drinks), intending to pack up and leave soon after. We met Matthew at reception again and he offered us a late check out, with no extra charge! I was absolutely delighted as this gave us a chance to use the pool. It was a lovely ending to a lovely stay. I will be definitely returning to this hotel at some point as our experience was just so positive. I really felt like they went above and beyond for us. Thank you Matthew and all for the great getaway.
