Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I felt at home right from the first phone call I made at near midnight. Not a quibble over the dozen phone calls and the concerns I had prior to the visit. Sandra is an angel. Fran is an amazing star. Sandra accommodated all our requests and put us at ease and made us feel at home. At the end of the week we said about thousand good byes and still didn't have the heart to leave! The house was very beautiful and generous sized rooms. Very quiet and very central to all amenities. We loved every bit of our stay there. Even Poppy was great!

Stayed just one night but wish it was more before a trip to New York. They also arranged transportation to Dublin airport. Great place and the staff were so helpful especially Sandra. Loved waking up to all the horses especially Enzo🙄

A lovely old house with generous rooms & lovely views over countryside & horses. It has ample parking. The rooms are in keeping with the age of the house & some may criticise not everything is brand new such as carpets etc. However for the price, & the charm of the house I wud say this is a good place to stay if ur looking for something of decent value. It's not going to compare to the standard of 4* hotel but we enjoyed our stay & I wud recommend it to friends & I wud stay there again myself. Maybe not as spotlessly clean as I wud like in the bathroom but definitely had been cleaned.

Stayed here for one night and had an excellent stay. Bed extremely comfy, quiet area, lovely views of the horses onsite! Rooms are quaint, traditional and basic. Could do with shower gel in the bathroom and perhaps a new kettle in the rooms. Room was also quite warm as the radiators would not seem to switch off and the day was quite warm. Really close to Ashbourne which has some lovely shops and restaurants. Only 20 minutes from Dublin City and 30 minutes from Dundrum. Breakfast was basic but up to a good standard. Would definitely stay again.

With so many unkind reviews we want to share our experiences of Broadmeadow. For several years now we have stayed overnight here four times a year on our return home from abroad. The place might at times be tired (like everywhere) but it is most definitely clean as I am obsessive about cleanliness!! The staff are lovely and approachable, the beds are comfortable and the breakfast is your choice and really good. An Irish breakfast is what it is people and I don't know where yogurt fits in with this but I do know whatever you ask for you will get! The price is fair and includes transport to the airport, taxi pick up on your return (you might be very lucky and have Tony collect you in his PJ's!!), bed, breakfast and free car parking!! What are you all expecting?? We will certainly continue to stay here and would be very disappointed if we had to move! Well done Sandra, Paul, Fran, Tony & everyone else see you you for breakfast on Sunday 15th January 2017.

The only reason this is a 4 star is that it has a beauty room. Nothing else matches 4* quality. Room number 1 was tired and dated and needed work. The shower screen was broke and the bathroom smelt like urine. The breakfast is apparently award winning and there is nothing 'full' about the full Irish breakfast. The only plus side was the location that it was close to where we needed to be. I'm not the sort of person to look at reviews I like to give places the benefit of the doubt but after staying here I will now be looking at reviews.

Location: not far from the airport (around 40 minutes), very convenient if you are renting a car. Hotel: very nice country house, well decorated. We booked a family room and got two connected rooms, really very convenient. Parking: outside & free. Breakfast: full Irish breakfast, quickly prepared and served. Surroundings: horses' houses and arena. Staff: very friendly and helpful! Only inconvenient: not easy to find, you will have to ask directions several times to local people.

Not **** rating and Tripadvisor sticker posted interesting! Quality, finishes & decor poor and very outdated. Shower over bath with half of shower screen broken/missing?. In general house and room/s require long overdue deep cleaning, maintenance & upgrade/painting .. floor in entrance hall requires repair/remedy ... stairs handrail and timber work absolutely filthy (black with years of grime???). Required to book breakfast night before from very limited breakfast offering (cereals = cornflakes and 2 X sugar coated cereals???). Chose full Irish however quantity and quality (cheap brown bread, sausages and pudding and no yogurt etc. etc. etc. ??) left a lot to be desired ... was not helped when party had to abandon their cereal, bowls and all .. milk provided was gone off? I am not generally very particular, however hygiene and cleanliness dining room? .. dirt and grime again on surfaces same as throughout house ?????????? 1st and last experience of a 'take it or leave it' B&B ...

Do not trust the location details of his hotel. Stayed here for one evening prior to catching a flight to the states from Manchester. Taxi to Dublin was €30 each way, taxi to the airport was €40 each way. Spend the money staying by the airport or in Dublin. It's so wrong that the description says "minutes" yes 40mins. Hate it when this happens.
