Checked in here for literally a few minutes as I took ill. Went back down to reception immediately to inform them what has happened and that we had to leave and received a very bad response when we asked for a refund as we had just paid €129 and only stayed for minutes and never even touched the room. Having... More

Stayed in a recently refurbished room on the 2nd floor. Clean & spacious with a double & 2 single beds. Food served in Fogarty's was lovely & although we didn't have time for the carvery it looked and smelled delicious. Staff couldn't have been more helpful. Would definitely recommend this value for money hotel

We had this hotel recommended to us by a Dublin taxi driver as a good place to eat a we headed out of Dublin on the way to Donegal. Situated in the middle of Ashbourne, Fogerty's bar inside the hotel is a spacious, clean and nicely decorated bar / restaurant serving a variety of meals. Jordan greeted us and made... More

An experience I have never had. No where does it explain to you that there is a full nightclub on the ground floor of the hotel before booking as my nightclub days were over years ago and I value my sleep this was not welcomed information at the reception desk. If you are anywhere near the first 2 floors you... More

We stayed here one night before a big trip to Tayto Park the following morning with two teenagers! The rooms are quite basic and a bit dated and the bed isn't ultra comfy, but for the price we paid (€160 for 2 rooms) you couldn't ask for more! We had a couple of drinks in the bar that evening which... More

Met by friendly staff upon check in. Booked a family room, with 1 double and 2 singles. Was surprised to see quite a large room, good wardrobe space, big bathroom and all very clean. Had breakfast the next morning, lots to choose from, good tasty food. If I had to say anything negative it would be that although the hotel... More

Use this every other visit to local area for work. Clean and spacious rooms. Bar staff great ,, food ample , tasty and simple. Breakfast very good and again friendly staff. Only minor issue is noise from takeaway kitchen on Main Street from room. Otherwise grand. Feeds the tayto park so can get busy and expensive !

Thank Stephen K
