We stayed for 1 night's getaway from it all for some peace and quiet. The house is charming and full of history and with the great service from Hannah and Paddy you feel totally relaxed. We stayed in the yellow house, the room was like something from a dolls house. Thank you again

My husband found this place on Hidden Ireland. He's an introvert, I'm an extrovert. He is happy taking it easy, I like to travel in to town and do activities. The Roundwood House was the perfect balance. We spent two nights in The Forge, one of the self catering rooms that is separate from the main house. It was warm,...

I organised a Hen Party in Roundwood House, and it was amazing. We are able to book out the house as we had the numbers to do so. Hannah and Paul were brilliant, so easy to deal with. The house is just beautiful, I love how it has been decorated, and the beds were gorgeous. All the girls fell in...

We stayed here as a family of 3 generations aged from 1-82 on our 3rd visit. It's a total 'get away from it all' venue for us where we somehow feel pampered and like we're visiting the home of relatives or friends at the same time. The food was excellent including a special children's tea where our little ones joined...

Located on a lovely Irish road outside the town, Roundwood sits majestically at the end of the road. You feel like you are back in time. The meal offered is to die for and the tea, fire, and company were fantastic. Make sure you check out the library and get Amelia and Lucie to give you a guided tour of...

The property has been in the family for many years, attention to detail is well learned and fun to experience. Our hosts treated us to a private dinner in the front room while another special party was in the main dining area. Very delicious dinner, wonderful service at dinner and again the next morning for a great breakfast. The property...

We absolutely loved Roundwood House. It is a short drive from Dublin and from the minute you enter the gates to the house, there is a lovely relaxed feeling. The house itself is full of character, lovely furniture and art. We stayed in the main part of the house and it was like taking a step back in time to...

Recently we were traveling with three couples and we stayed on night in this country manor. It is really lovely and authentic, its history dating hundreds of years. The owners Hannah and Paddy are very warm and welcoming, additionally the dinner and breakfast served was exceptional. I can strongly recommend this charming location as very worth a visit.

This was an amazing experience. The house itself is baffling: gorgeous, antiques and beautiful pictures everywhere. We had the spacious blue room, with very good beds and a bath tub (nice with our little girl). Our two-year old daughter had a nice room to play in, with many toys, and there are a swing and slide in the garden. Toddler...
