Jim and I had a great visit with Brian and Brigid at the Waterside. We stayed for 2 nights, had breakfast, and a very good dinner! We were lucky on the weather during our entire stay in Ireland, and our time in Graiguenamanagh was no exception. We had a lovely climb up Brandon Hill, visited all the pubs in town,...

We stayed at the Waterside for one night, whilst we were in Ireland for a wedding. Arrived for a very nice late breakfast of full irish, with orange juice and toast. We were also allowed to use our room early, so that we could get ready for the wedding. Our room had a bit of a musty smell, probably needs...

Before heading off on a walk to St.Mullins we stopped here for tea and scones. The scones were freshly baked and were served with raspberry jam. Everything was perfect and it set us up well for the walk.

Shane, Thanks for the positive mention. 60% of those that come in before setting off don't bother with the walk at all! I admire your commitment, obviously made of the right stuff(just like our scones!).

We stayed at the Waterside in September while hiking. The staff was very friendly. The room was nice, although the shower was really small. The owner mentioned to me the next morning that they should have give us a different room with a bigger shower, that some of the other rooms had been updated. Oh well, we had a good...

We had pre-booked before leaving Australia and had excellent and quick reply from owner Brian each time we emailed. We actually ended up arriving a day before our booking hoping to get an extra nights stay. We could not have asked for better service. We had a large room that easily accommodated our International luggage and Brian and his staff...

This was a beautiful view of the bridge and river and the boats from inside the dining area. The dining area was tasteful decorated and the food!!! with each dish you needed to take time and savor. It was magical looking out the white wash windows and see the colorful boats and see the smoke rising from a chimney across...

Waterside is perfectly located and good place to stay if you are visiting this lovely part of the country. The bedrooms are compact but adequate for a short stay. B/fast was 1st class and all staff really friendly and helpful. OK for an evening meal as well, not gourmet dining but presumably that's not why you're visiting Graigue. Food is...

My friends and I have had a really lovely weekend in Graiguenamanagh, We stayed at the Waterside and were really well looked after by Brian and his team. The rooms are really big, comfortable and warm - the triple rooms would be brilliant for a family. Breakfast was really tasty and very generous with friendly efficient staff. We loved Graiguenamanagh...

From the start a disaster, staff not trained or have they ever eaten in a restaurant but please read to the end as all explained. Ordered white wine, plonked on the table, no cooler. It was a little warm so we asked for a cooler with ice, there was 6 on a shelf beside us?! They searched high and low......

Dear JM Menace, We did indeed speak on Saturday night and I made sure at that time to investigate the service you received and try to figure out what was right and fair before you left. For that reason I feel your comments are very harsh, dressed with emotive words such as disaster, awful, comical, wine was plonked down ,...

Hi Richie and all at Phoenix, Thanks indeed for the kind comments. We enjoyed having your enthusiastic group stay at Waterside. It makes it a pleasant place for all of us to work when people are here to enjoy themselves and experience all the craic and adventure associated with Graiguenamanagh and the surrounding area.
