Detailed Reviews
The Campsite is breath taking and there are so many walk ways from the Brandon loop to walking into Graignuemanagh. The communal kitchen facility and relaxing area were very clean and comfortable and it served as a brilliant place for people who have never camped before. Ken kindly supplied us with firewood for campfires and the young people loved the location. I would highly recommend this site for groups and couples. I hope to bring more groups to this location in the future. Thanks a million for accommodating us Ken

We've just returned from three wonderful days spent on the Brandonhill Campsite in Graiguenamanagh. It was our little piece of heaven on earth, from the very first time when booking, to the genuine welcome, the best advice on the activities that suited our needs and the final goodbye, Ken is a man made for meeting, greeting and making people feel welcome.
Brandonhill gives you the feeling of a home away from home but with stunning views of the River Barrow and the surrounding hills and mountains.
Our glamping pod was spotlessly clean and comfy and came with a stunning view of Mount Leinster.
We enjoyed a bike trip to St Mullins along the old towpath, followed by a leisurely lunch at the Mullichain Cafe and on another day we climbed to the top of Brandon hill, where we could see for miles in all directions.
I wholeheartedly recommend a stay at Brandonhill Campsite, it is a winner for fun, service and value for money. We can't wait to go back again!!

Overnight camping trip with work which included 7 young people, all really enjoyed the experience. Perfect location for a stroll into local village. Owners are very welcoming and site is spotless. Excellent location for group outings will be recommending to other youth groups.

Loved this campsite! The view over the valley is breathtaking. The campsite itself has such a lovely vibe - really laid back and friendly. Great communal kitchen facilities (for campers) and dog friendly. Ken is really helpful and gave us advice for kayaking the River Barrow and for a nearby wonderful hike up the hills. We will definitely come back - loved our stay here!!!

Stayed here for 3 nights whilst completing the Barrow way from kildare to st mullins. Fantastic facilities including a campers kitchen, indoor and outdoor chill out areas. Spotlessly clean and extra measures in place due to covid 19. Ideally located just outside picturesque graigue. Very handy for exploring nearby like st mullins on foot or Kilkenny highest mountain for which it is named after. We will be back. Thanks Ken

What a wonderful little campsite. Friendly owner, very helpful. Toilet and shower are basic but spotless. Lovely campers kitchen. Great views. Fantastic site to relax in. Definitely going back. Several nice level pitches for motorhomes and the glamping pods are very impressive. Tent pitches are excellent with the best views.

We stayed here at short notice on July 9th. Ken was great - helpful and easy going. The views from site are fabulous and Graigenamaagh is only a short walk away. Our pitch had plenty of space for our van, tentbox and two dogs!
Very reasonably priced. Will be back!

The most beautiful veiws of any campsite we have ever stayed, the owner Ken is a total gent, friendly, kind and considerate.. we love comi g to graignamanagh as the kids love the river and its a lovely vibe in around the town, however the facilities are really in need of work, there is only 1 shower for the entire campsite and 1 ladies toilet, you can queue for sometime to get in. This year they were at a standard that is just not acceptable, dirty grubby and overused.. our pitches had tents that had been taken down and threw into the corners of the pitches rather than being taken away.. The campers kitchen also was in need o a deep clean and removal of worn out tattered chairs.. i think the site is amazing but there is a standard that isc equired and Brandon hill for all its plus points could not get way with this now, investment is needed and Ken needs to see it through fresh eyes as he is a great guy with a potentially perfect site.. i hope to see it get the care thats needed and we can return in the future to the place it should be.. there isnt a sitein ireland with such a perfect position and location.

Lovely relaxed campsite. Ken the owner is very friendly and gave lots of tips on the area.
Location and view fab. Short stroll to the cute village with a few pubs to choose from with nice outdoor areas. The walk by the river in the village is so pretty.
