We were there to watch the Ireland v. New Zealand match which was showing in the bar/breakfast room. They wouldn't raise the volume of the TVs, spent the whole time trying to shush the crowd, and threatened to turn the TVs off if the crowd didn't quieten. If you aren't prepared to deal with noise, don't show sporting events in the first place.

Thanks for coming in Amanda, we try to accommodate everyone's needs but we did have guests having breakfast so noise needs to be appropriate and the timing of the match meant that was a difficult balance given where our TV's are located. We open our new extension soon and that will give us more space for special occasions like that brilliant match on Saturday.

I'm a regular guest and I always get a free upgrade if possible. The staff are so fantastic and always pleasant. The food is always freshly prepared and top quality with a good selection also available for breakfast The new hotel facility is not fully open yet but I was given a room in the new section this week and it was really luxurious. I cant wait for the new part of the hotel to be fully open.

On a recent 4 night stay at Lawlor’s in Nass, the rooms were extremely comfortable and room staff were excellent. Whilst we only had breakfast in the dining room each morning, the choice and quality was of a high standard but one very important comment would be to highlight the quality of the staff - very attentive and friendly. I would like to thank all the staff for making our stay a pleasant experience.

We took our mum/grandmother out here for a birthday treat, we waited half an hour for our food to be delivered to the table, lots of staff just standing around doing absolutely nothing but chatting to each other, when the food eventually arrived my chicken was cold and tough as if it had been sitting under a heat lamp for ages,I mentioned this to my waitress who just said she would mention it to the chef...no follow up..no replacement offered.

I was pleasantly surprised with this hotel. The room was spacious with large, comfortable beds. The room was a bit too warm but the fan helped a lot. The shower was great. We were served drinks in the bar by a lovely guy, Mark. We didn't have dinner there but breakfast was very good, fresh & tasty. Kate had been very helpful regarding my booking via email. There is parking just next door & the shops & pubs are witnin walking distance. Overall a great stay, thank you! We will definitely be back soon!

Just back from a one night stay. The room was extremely spacious and warm. The dinner was beautiful. The staff were absolutely incredible throughout. One downfall however was the breakfast - the options were very limited, however, when we asked if there was porridge available the chef made it fresh for us. We really did appreciate it and it was absolutely beautiful porridge. We look forward to returning again.

We go to lawlors a lot, last visit was over St Patrick’s weekend, so they’ve changed the menu and as I’m vegetarian I normally have same thing, For starter I had the mushroom bruschetta, and the chickpea and corn burger for main, while the mushrooms are very tasty the sourdough bread is so dry, it needs some more oil maybe, the burger says vine tomato and gherkin on menu, they come out on a cocktail stick! One baby tomato and one slice gherkin, dry bun, dry burger, pile of rocket leaves, which I love by the way! So I mentioned all this to one of the guys in suits, some Mayo or something to jazz it up, plenty of vegan sauces available, maybe put some beef tomato and gherkin or onion on the burger? He agreed and said he’d pass it on to chef🙌Sooo last night ordered the same and hey!! NO change🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️They are not very difficult changes to make but would make vegetarian meals more appetising, So hopefully next time I’ll find they do actually listen!!Apart from that every else’s food was lovely and the staff are great,

The hotel looks very good all the antique decor work so well the restaurant and bar is simple fabulous, air conditioning in the rooms would have been great, the food was the only let down for us the chicken was very dry and the seafood platter was poorly executed, We would still come back here and will be doing so soon.
