Hospitality first class, food was excellent, John and ronnie very welcoming with a homely atmosphere. Stayed for curragh weekend absolutely brilliant time. Highly recommend, kind regards, euan, Pete and alan
Large clean house with plenty of parking. Using GPS it’s difficult to find as GPS brings you around the corner to the back of the house? The owners are aware of this problem but the house is well sign posted. Well run place with a very friendly and warm owner. Rooms are comfortable, although for my taste the pillows are far too soft. Bed was comfortable. Close walk to the center of town. Breakfast was very good and they were very accommodating to my husbands diet.
We have stayed here a few times now.. lovely clean bedrooms beds are so comfy.. we dont have breakfast as we leave early for dog showing but the little room is fab for making tea/coffee and for eating a chinese take away.. dogs are allowed a free run after travelling in the back garden which is great for them.. lovely and quiet but not far from the town.. will be back again for sure.. highly recommend, hosts are very friendly and helpful.. thank you

John & Ronnie were perfect hosts when I stayed for 6 nights recently. Great breakfasts and easy to walk to everywhere in town. Great hosts who were so helpful in every way. Lovely house , very quiet despite it being on a busy road.
We found Avondale after hours of searching for a place to stay near Dublin. We were so thankful to find Ronnie and just loved her B&B. The accommodations were very comfortable, just like home and everything was within walking distance. A true find! Breakfast was delicious and the conversation and added blessing of the day. Highly recommend!!
My partner and I for the third year running have just enjoyed another wonderful stay at Avondale B&B. A home away from home, clean & comfortable with an excellent home cooked breakfast to start your day. We will be going back for many years to come.
I was visiting a family member in hospital. The location is very convenient to the town and on the bus route to Dublin. Really lovely accommodation and great welcome from the hosts. Room is clean and facilities are very good. Will come back again. Highly recommended Catherine
