Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.

Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

After arriving very late to the B&B Mary was welcoming and even offered a cup of tea despite the time of night I arrived. The breakfast in the morning was gorgeous with a wide selection of food including homemade bread, scones and banana bread. The bedroom was extremely comfortable and included tea, coffee and biscuits. On the second morning of our stay Mary provided breakfast to me and my friends despite the fact we were late down for breakfast. I couldn't recommend this B&B highly enough.

Mary made us feel most welcome. She went out of her way to make us most comfortable; accommodating our dog, who had mistakenly not been booked in. Her breakfast was outstanding. Huge choice from both buffet and menu. All cooked fresh; including muffins, scones and banana bread. We were made to feel very much at home. We were impressed at how Mary and her son remembered all of our names. We enjoyed seeing the hens and visiting the milking parlor. A wonderful place to stay!

I arrived late at night and was warmly welcomed and offered a cup of tea. When I went to drink it I was surprised to find it served with scones and jam and cream. Breakfast is amazing, there is the buffet food including fruit salad and yoghurt, cereals, scones, freshly squeezed juice etc. but on top of this you can order meals off a breakfast menu. I asked if I could borrow a bike and Francis found me one along with a helmet. The room is charming, the view is amazing and the atmosphere is peaceful and relaxed. Also, they have free wifi! I was well looked after. All my requests were met and they went above and beyond my expectations in every area. Definitely the best B & B I have ever stayed at.

When we reached it was late in the evening and Mary was out. Her son was so welcoming and went out of the way and gave us tea, juice and scones. We had a lovely time there and the breakfast was fab. Great hospitality. We left and did not realise that we had left an item of clothing behind until it arrived in the post. Thank you for your kindness and generosity.

We arrived late in the evening after heavy traffic and were met by Vincent and Mary with freshly baked scones and tea and coffee! What a joy! The place was perfect for us and our 2 boys, everything you could need for a lovely break. Thanks, we hope to return one day.

Top notch bed and breakfast. Mary welcomes you like one of her family and immediately makes you feel at home with tea or coffee and home baked scones. Our room was a good size and very comfortable. A table tennis table and a dart board are available in the conservatory, and if like us, you have a little one, you're encouraged to feed the hens and see the cows. Breakfast was fresh and really good quality. Not a great deal to see or do in the near vicinity, but the ancient high stone cross at Moone was worth a visit.

We have just had a weeks stay at Beech Lodge self catering - I am a permanent wheelchair user and everything was great for me , I easily coped independently which speaks volumes for the cottage. Apart from that the cottage was spotlessly clean and Mary made us feel very welcome particularly with her super scones and jam - we would recommend the cottage to anyone wishing to stay in that area - even the weather was good. Thanks again Mary.

As we arrived in the late afternoon, quite tired, our host Mary greeted us with her delicious scones and tea. The room we had was small but certainly adequate for a night and spotlessly clean. Tea and coffee were available at all times on the landing between the rooms. Since this is a working dairy farm, we were able to see some cows being milked and learned a lot about their operation from Mary's husband Vincent. The B&B is a short drive to the town where we ate in the hotel dining room, which had a sophisticated menu with excellent food. Mary's breakfast the next morning was absolutely delicious. All in all, very good value.

Stayed here having come to Ireland for a family wedding. Mary and Vincent did a great job of welcoming us with gorgeous scones and jam and tea. Loved the breakfast choices! All in all, friendly warm service and hospitality and clean and adequately furnished apartment. Would definitely recommend it. Thanks. Therese.
