Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Although we had trouble finding the B&B we were welcomed with tea and scones on arrival. We enjoyed watching the dairy cattle arrive and leave for their evening milking. The hostess was quite willing to chat about the farm and the area in general which we found very interesting. Wonderful breakfast included homemade jams and eggs from the farm.

We stayed here for one night, it was lovely: the room was large and comfortable, the irish breakfast really tasteful with local products and original recipes (like the banana bread). The location also is relaxing and fully immersed in the irish countryside.

This is our first visit here and we really enjoyed our stay. We had a warm welcome and scones, cream and tea and stayed in a nice clean room. The next morning had great irish breakfast with lovely fresh fruit and enjoyed meeting Mary Vincent and Family.

My wife and I stayed here recently, and were delighted we did. We arrived very late at night, and had been left a key to let ourselves in. The room was spotlessly clean, and the house itself is full of character and lots of little personal touches. Next morning we awoke to views of calves and hens outside, and beautiful countryside. The breakfast is the best I've ever been offered in a B&B - lots of home produced fare, and the home-baked soda bread is fantastic. Mary was a wonderful host, and made us feel really welcome. Very highly recommended.

The farm location was so relaxing and located in an area that we could make day trips to many historical sites. A lovely double rainbow welcomed us after a drizzle. We had had a lot of rain at Glendalough so it was nice to return to the homey atmosphere of Ballindrum Farm. We watched a great movie that evening in the sitting room. The whole family made us feel welcome.

Recently stayed a night when touring the UK & Ireland by car. The room was clean and spacious, the bed was very comfortable, and the breakfast was great. Our host was friendly and very helpful. Athy is a small town a 15 minute drive away and is good for an evening meal, supermarket etc. Dublin is less than one hours drive. Recommended

Room was excellent and breakfast first class. Nothing was too much trouble and Vincent and Mary are fantastic hosts. B&b was fully booked whilst we we there and it was no wonder. You need a car especially to eat out at night. We were there for racing at Leopardstown and The Curragh and it was great for that. Recommendations from their son re eating at Clannard Court Hotel in Atay and Lawlor's (especially)in Naas on our way back from the Curragh were spot on. Would recommend this B&B to everyone

Enjoyed a week staying at the lodge which is situated at the entrance road to the farm. All on one level and mobility friendly. Mary greeted us warmly with tea and homemade scones. We ate breakfast at the farm twice, both delicious. The lodge was ideal for 3 of us, one being my 90 year old mum. She loved it. Great location to drive around to many small towns and see some of the beautiful countryside. View from the lodge are lovely. Would certainly stay again.

I stayed for 1 night after a wedding. The facilities were 5 star, the room and bathroom were both spotless and very comfortable, I really appreciated the tea and coffee making facilities and the water that was provided in my room. Breakfast was a delight, the homemade scones in particular were delicious. Mary was so kind to us and made us feel so welcome. The surroundings are beautiful. I would highly recommend. Many thanks Mary for all your hospitality and close attention to detail that made our stay so wonderful.
