Rooms were clean and loved the decor in rooms. Would definitely stay again. The food was scrumptious. Would really recommend staying here. Loved the location and loved seeing the alpacas and horses. Staff are so friendly.

A modern hotel with a cosy atmosphere. Staff were friendly and efficient. There's an excellent bar and the food was very good. Just a short walk out of Athy. The Clanard is set in its own grounds and there is outdoor seating to enjoy the good weather.

We celebrated my Dad's 60th birthday here 3 weeks ago, 20 of us in total. As it was a Sunday, the bar & Restaurant area was really busy which delayed us being seated - didn't bother us tho as some of our party were late arriving. The wait was worth it tho because the food & service was impeccable! The food was delicious & plentiful. The 2 girls (I'm sorry I didn't grab their names) that looked after us were always ensuring we had everything we needed, without being too intrusive either. Thank you girls! When it came down to paying, they had no issue with splitting the bill for us (which I would of totally understood if they did) and at €35 for 3 course dinner, great value! None of our party stayed in the hotel so unfortunately cannot comment on that but if your looking for a…

Have stayed at this hotel on a regular basis over the last number of years. Every from checking in to checking out was excellent as usual. The room was top class. The meals we always looked forward to ever day. Breakfast and evening meals. In the climate of rising prices the value was excellent. Best of all about this hotel is the very friendly staff. Always helpful and pleasant.

My daughters wedding. From start to finish on monday morning ,everything was excellent. Food service ,staff and management could not habe been more welcoming to everyone. The brdrooms were spotless and very cosy and warm.

Myself and my husband stayed here for two days. All the staff were so friendly, from the moment we walked into the hotel, the girl at reception was lovely, very welcoming and chatty. We had one lunch and two evening meals, and they were all tasty and beautifully cooked. The service we received was amazing, and we will definitely be back to this beautiful hotel.
