This hotel is ideal for exploring Kildare as it is near to everything . It is a 20 minute drive from the national stud farm and the popular Kildare village shopping outlet. The staff at reception were very helpful. The rooms were very luxurious and clean with plenty of space . We had dinner in Bailey's Bistro and it was fabulous. It was our waitress's first day and she was so nice . We chose to have breakfast in our room the following morning and it arrived right on time still piping hot and beautifully presented . There are plenty of facilities including a games room , a luxurious spa including a hot tub and resident alpacas!
We really enjoyed our stay and can't wait to come back !

I sincerely feel that the clanard court is the best hotel we have ever stayed at that's why we keep coming back.
from the minute you enter the hotel you are greeted by the nicest reception staff ever they make you feel so at home, and relaxed, it has such a warm friendly atmosphere. what sets this hotel apart from any other we stayed in is the staff who go beyond to make your stay pleasant and memorable, nothing is a bother.
the rooms are amazing spacious and cleaned to the highest standards.
the food is out of the world reasonably priced, excellent service, again the staff making you feel very welcome even having a wee chat with you so so friendly ( I love this).
the breakfast has a great choice you won't be hungry the rest of the day.
I have no doubt that anyone coming to stay here will definitely return.
I look forward to it again.
10/10.

Spent 3 nights with the family in the Clanard Court Hotel in July 2020. The hotel was only just open after lockdown but felt very safe as they had great procedures to deal with the pandemic, very clean, loads of hand sanitizer at regular points, social distancing etc
The staff couldn't have looked after us better, very friendly and went out of there way to help and recommend activities. Food was top quality and reasonably priced.
I stayed in a standard family room but was above standard. 2x large double beds and a big room, very clean and decorated nicely.
I would highly recommend this hotel, and will stay again!

Myself and my wife stayed in this hotel for one night on Saturday 27th November. The welcome from the girl on reception was fantastic and it didn't stop there. Restaurant and bar staff were very friendly. Our room had two double beds that were very comfortable, there was complementary water and tea an coffee and the shower was very powerful.
Breakfast the following morning was table service which was fine. We both had the full Irish and I must say it was the tastiest I've had in a hotel ever.
Well done Clonard Court Hotel... You are doing a great job!!!

The staff were so incredibly nice and in the current COVID circumstances were more than helpful and went out of their way to make sure we had a fantastic and safe stay. The rooms were spotless clean and beautifully designed with very comfortable beds. The dinner and drinks we had were absolutely delicious and the staff were so incredibly kind and catered to any need we had. The hotel is only a 5 min drive to Athy and a 20 min drive to the Whitewater Shopping Centre so it was perfect for our girls night getaway, we're already planning a trip back! We did think the K Leisure centre was closer to the hotel but its only a 9 min drive away with a decent pool for a swim. I couldn't thank the staff more for making us feel so welcome and I can't wait to go back!

This is my fourth time to stay here. From the moment we arrived we were made so welcome. Every hotel could learn from the staff at Clanard Court. Nothing was too much trouble and every single staff member went above and beyond to ensure we were looked after. They were faultlessly professional and friendly. It must be a joy to be a foreigner and experience Irish hospitality at its absolute best. That's what this is. The food is very good in Bailey's bar with a huge variety to suit all tastes. Great atmosphere in the bar if a little noisy. Lovely quiet dining room opposite on busy nights which is worth asking for. Lovely rooms with two double beds. Spotlessly clean as was the bathroom. I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough.

We had a one night stay here on April 23rd. Our arrival was a bit chaotic as there was a wedding taking place , and the guests were all gathered in the reception area. We had to wait a little while for our room, so we just popped into the bar until the room was ready . The receptionists were friendly and welcoming (no name badges so can't give them a direct mention). We stayed in a beautiful Garden Suite room.Views are amazing and well worth the extra cost to upgrade. The suites were spotless as was the bathroom, with lovely toiletries. Fab shower too. Beds very comfy but duvets very heavy for this time of year, Decor was stunning . We had a dinner included as part of our package with our friends who travelled with us. Apon perusing this menu we decided we preferred the A la carte as it had more choice. We were informed we had to pay an extra 3 euro per starter and 6 euro extra per main course in order to do this. This added 36 euro to our bill. We thought it strange that we couldn't just eat from that menu, and pay the prices stated on it. We didn't want to make a big deal out of it, so we just agreed to pay the extra. The food was delicious, tasty and fresh. The cod portion was very generous. Drink prices in bar were very good for a hotel bar. Overall we had a very enjoyable night, and we would recommend this hotel. However if we return we will probably just book B& B ,so we have the flexibility of eating off the main menu.

Dear FeeFee Thank you for sharing your feedback with our trip advisor followers. Were delighted to hear that you enjoyed your stay. I regret that check in was a little chaotic - 3pm to 4pm on the day of a wedding can be a little loud in the lobby as guests arrive but we have plenty of people on board to ensure that everyone is taken care of hopefully you were looked after in good time. Its lovely to read your comments about our garden rooms, they are very well received by guests and definitely worth the extra small supplement to stay in them. I understand your comments regarding changing over from our Table D'hote menu to our a la carte menu, the reason for this is that our system applies a nominated amount for a Dinner Bed and Breakfast Package which is automatically charged to your bill. Its not an easy task to remove these charges in the bistro hence we offer the option of an A la Carte supplement should someone wish to have greater choice during their stay with us. It would be easier to say its not possible to have the choice and DBB guests must choose from our Table D'hote Menu but we don't like to be too restrictive to guests during their visit hence this is a simple compromise that is seamless on our till system and our front office system. I do hope that explains the matter for you. Once again, many thanks for your custom and your feedback Best Wishes Mary and Team

We as a group of 9 girls stayed here for one night as a getaway break and celebrating our friends birthday. To say the least we have an amazing time in the hotel and with the staff.
Starting that morning with the train from Dublin to Athy in 50mins and €10 each way is a no brainer. From the station is is only a 20min walk.
We arrived at the hotel and were greeted by Martina, Lori and Amanda who were professional and courteous to us throughout the check -in.
Later we had lunch in the bistro bar were we met John & Brian and the bar staff Chloe, Tyrone and Glen who waited on us at our every need, they just couldn't do enough for us and the food was delish.
The rooms for sharing (3 in 1) are fantastic in size, plenty of room, they were spotless clean with everything arranged for your use. I would like to give a special thank you to Marie and Inga the two cleaning ladies who were ever so friendly and chatty for all their hard work as it is not easy cleaning up after 9 mad women on the loose !
Overall the hotel is a great little place to unwind and leave the hustle & bustle of the city behind. The hotel staff are so accommodating and made us feel so welcome that we didn't want to go home.. thank you Clonard Court Hotel for memorable stay!!!
