Many thanks to Mary ,Eoin, and the team for the great New Years Evening at the loveky Clanard Court Hotel. The Menu had a great choice of starters , main courses, and desserts, and the coffee was really good .
The menu was really good value at €55 to include a glass of processco and live music afterwards in Baileys Bat
The setting was very welcoming and warm, and inviting the linen table cloths gave the dining experience the edge .

I booked a family room for 1 nights stay upon my arrival i requested a mini fridge to the room I was told they dont supply these, but that i could give reception any items i may needed to store that they would kindly store it in the hotels main fridges itself

I do think accomadation of mini fridges to the rooms would be beneficial as it would be easier for people like myself in a family room with children especially infants 0-2 years needing to store items .ie milk that we would not have to go to reception during the night to ask for milk to make a bottle as its more time consuming causing infants to become more distressed,

Also for breakast i think adding pancakes or waffles or even both to the kids menu would be beneficial too as they are a big hit with children

Overall my stay was amazing from start to finish, felt like I was home away from home which is one fo the best feelings, my infant really enjoyed his stay also.
He settled for bed no problem.

My family room was beautiful, spacious, and the perfect temperature throughout both day and night.
The beds were so comfortable to sleep in one of the best nights sleep possible was had

The level of hygiene is second to none it's amazing within the rooms and both the hotels interior and exterior!

The staff is absolutely brilliant so pleasant and welcoming with the perfect balance of profesionism and friendliness, very hardworking in all departments .ie reception, service, cleaning etc...
They will try to accomadate you to the best of their abilities,

Lastly the food as always is amazing / beautiful and most deffinitely value for money

I would like to say a big thank you to each and everyone of you for all you did throughout my stay,
I look forward to booking back in again in the future!

I would deffinitely recomend The Cland Court Hotel to everyone!

Dear Lauren Thank you for your very comprehensive review. We are delighted that you had a great stay with us and found the customer service and hygiene to be of an excellent standard. I take on board your comments regarding a fridge in your room. Many of our rooms including our large family rooms are equipped with a fridge, I regret that your particular room wasn't, We used to offer portable mini-fridges but found that they were not very effective as refrigeration does not tolerate movement well. We have pancakes on our kiddies lunch and evening menu so could very well have prepared one for you on request, providing that it was not during peak service times at breakfast. If you are visiting us again in the future please do make a request on arrival for a room with a fridge and also let us know that you would like some pancakes for breakfast and we can arrange both for you. Once again many thanks for your review and your kind comments Warm Regards

We just love this hotel.
We stayed as a young family of 5. Children are 7, 5 & 1 years of age. The hotel its self is very clean and has been modernised with gorgeous decor. We visited last week for our annual Christmas Holiday and met Santa with all his elves. The atmosphere was so magical. Big Open fire and enormous christmas tree to greet you are you walk into the foyer. Pleasent staff at the reception area. The food for dinner and breakfast was of very high quality. The waiting staff were very nice always and couldnt do enough. my 1 year old caused a huge spill of coffee and they were out very quickly to assist. The family bedroom was very spacious and clean. Plenty of pillows and spares also. The bathroom was spotless and again plently of clean white towels and soaps and gels etc.

Overall we had a wonderful visit.

Thank you

What a wonderful experience. On arrival we were greeted by the manager, and from that moment on our stay was superb. The suite was even more luxurious than expected. It had been recently renovated and everything was there for us even down to and incl. bath salts & scented candles. The balcony was large and very private, the large picture window had an amazing unobstructed view for miles over a recently cut corn field. It reminded me of Van Gogh's painting "Farmhouse In A Wheat Field".
The Wedding Reception was second to none, the food was cooked to perfection. I had the sea bass, which was a definite treat, it was served as if there was only one person eating and not over 150 at one time.
The staff were so mannerly, friendly and accommodating. Check in was smooth and efficient. Breakfast was lovely with the usual full Irish etc on offer as well as a few not so familiar treats.
Altogether we were really happy with our stay and hopefully will return again. It is not the first time we stayed at this lovely Hotel. Last time we used the Hotel was to have a little retail therapy at Kildare Village.

I went to the bistro/bar for a nice sunday meal we ordered drinks and food with no bother when our said drinks arrived i was appalled to see that there was LIPSTICK on my glass i immediately demanded a new drink which swifly issued with no apology. The menu choice itself was limited I opted for the cajun chicken wrap when it arrived it was overcooked and extremely dry i had to take a sip of my drink for each bite. The bathrooms were quite sanitary i was glad to see.

Thank you for providing us with some valuable feedback following your recent visit to Baileys Bar and Bistro. I regret that there was lipstick on your glass, this must have slipped through the net as all glasses are polished when they are taken out of the glass washer by our very attentive young bar assistant. I have passed your comments regarding the Cajun chicken wrap on to our head chef who will check the setting on our panini machine in order to ensure that all temperature and time settings are just right. I do hope that your negative experience on this occasion will not deter you from choosing Baileys Bar when next staying at The Clanard Court. Warm Regards Mary and Team

we attended a wedding in the hotel and stayed overnight. the staff could not have been more helpful, the rooms were spotless and very comfortable, the food was of high quality. it is a lovely venue, away from the hustle and bustle and in an ideal setting with lovely gardens. sound proofing is really good, despite the loud music, as soon as you left the reception room, the noise disappeared.

Our New Year's stay at Clanard Court Hotel in Athy, Ireland, was nothing short of amazing! From the get-go, the place wowed us with its elegance and attention to detail. The rooms were not just fancy but also impressively clean, a real blessing for our family member with allergies.

What took the experience to the next level was the incredibly warm and friendly staff. They didn't just provide great service; they made us feel like cherished guests. Their genuine warmth added a personal touch that made our stay truly special.

As for the New Year's celebration, Clanard Court Hotel nailed it. The festive decorations and the delicious food created an atmosphere that perfectly blended luxury with joy. It's a fantastic spot in Athy, and we highly recommend it, especially if you value both style and a friendly, welcoming vibe. Oh, and the cleanliness? Exceptional – a real bonus for a worry-free stay!

Thank you for your fabulous five star review We are thrilled that you enjoyed your NYE experience at The Clanard Court. We love to celebrate the special moments and create "that feeling inside" for our guests. Christmas and New Years Eve are special occasions so we roll out the red carpet, add a bit of sparkle, pop open the bubbly and throw in that feel good factor across the board. We have a great team of fun loving, warm and hospitable people, who pride themselves on attention to detail so when we combine them both with some great food we get the result our guests are looking for. Thank you for noticing and thank you for your feedback it means a lot to our wonderful team. We look forward to welcoming you back in the future Warm Regards
