Gorgeous little gem. Great location, so much character, charm, very clean, very gracious hosts. Old movies display is an absolute must. The place is like a little museum but cosy like home. Outdoor seating sheltered area is lovely in the Summer. Will stay again

Stayed here for an overnight at the last minute and was so delighted I found this place. Mary met me at the door and she was the Irish hostess with the mostest herself The room was beautifully restored fine luxury from days gone by but with all mod cons including a wonderful bathroom. Had a great sleep in luxury fine linen and covers, then a lovely country house breakfast in the morning and Mary couldn't do enough for me! She even stopped me leaving without my ring when I had left it on the dresser. Will be back really soon and don't worry Mary your time will come again to get your high heels on! x

We stayed here after attending a family wedding nearby. From the moment we checked in Mary made us feel so welcome. The rooms are very comfortable and getting out of the comfortable bed was no easy task in the morning. Breakfast was made to order and was very tasty. Our daughter even got a jar of Nutella for her croissant(which made her morning) Both Richard and Mary were so friendly and full of information. If you are a history nut like me Richard is a wealth of information. We were also invited to pick apples from the orchard to take home which will make lovely apple tart. Would highly recommend and will definitely return in the future.

Typical Irish country home. Friendly, clean and allowed me bring my dog. Tranquility, an hours drive from Dublin. Best to phone them and book direct if you are bringing a pet. Beautiful walk nearby to the ancient moate.
