I stayed here last weekend with my partner, it was all last minute. We were dubious as the exterior is very bland. We initially got a room without a bath and I explained to the barman that I would love a bath he quickly changed our room. The room was very clean and the view was fabulous!!! WE drank in...

My daughter and I arrived very late to the hotel (having been let down badly by a local B&B), but couldn't have been met with a warmer welcome by John Paul. His friendly approach makes him an asset to the hotel. The room was very comfortable and clean. We had a wonderful night's sleep - not a sound! Breakfast the...

I arrived late at night after a long drive. The staff were very friendly and accomodating. The atmosphere is very relaxed and comfortable. The hotel is great value for a three star hotel. I overslept and breakfast had finished the following morning. Without even asking, I was asked would I like breakfast before I left. I was brought Cereal, delicious...

Stayed in the cottage three nights loved it. there were six of us. Plenty of room . Everything you needed for cooking. Beds and bed linen very comfortable. Lovely play room with table tennis and pool. Swings and slides are beside the cottages. Close to Galway for the shops. Lovely safe beaches would be able to stay there all day....

I am here with a group of teens doing a spiritual pilgrimage. We are here for three nights and we couldn't be happier with the facilities, food and location. The Lodge is fabulous and the cottages are very nice.

I stayed in this hotel with a group and I have to say that I was mightily impressed! The hotel (and holiday cottages) is on the main road from Galway to Spiddal but is hidden from view up a driveway. The hotel itself is very comfortable with every amenity you could want. There is wifi throughout the hotel and cottages,...

The PLH in Spiddal is a wonderful spot for an Irish getaway. A 20-minute drive from Galway's city center, and minutes from the charming town of Spiddal, you can be in the middle of the hustle and bustle or as secluded as you choose. The hospitality of the Foyle family in unbeatable. The rooms are simple, but have everything you...

The owners are incredibly charming and hospitable. They will help you make your vacation perfect. We stayed here in the off season and the breakfasts were delicious! The tea was phenominal. This hotel is right across the street from the ocean and a beautiful beach! Sunset/sunrise walks are a must. Only a short drive (10 minutes) to Galway for shopping/pubs/restaurants.

We stayed at the Park Lodge for 3 nights in the "off season" but the service we experienced was first rate. Rooms in the main building were clean and roomy. Breakfast offered a variety of hot and cold options. We were near the end our Ireland vacation, traveling with our children, and they said Park Lodge had the BEST brown...
