This lovely home has clean, comfortable and spacious accommodations in the rural area close to Kinvarra - and an easy jaunt to Doolin for the Cliffs of Moher or Galway for a bigger city. Our family of 8 was traveling together and able to spread out in Brenda and Michael’s farmhouse. Brenda’s breakfast was perfect for us - lots of choices. Best scones ever! The very best of Irish hospitality!
I highly recommend Clareview House. I enjoyed a lovely stay. The welcome received was plenty of reason to visit alone. The welcome ambassador is Tommy who is sure to receive you with a wagging tail. Tommy is a Jack Russell terrier. Thank you Brenda for the lovely food and scones.
My wife and I spent 2 nights here and it couldn’t have been more perfect! Our host was as gracious as can be and made us feel welcome and shared great tips for exploring the area. Brenda made a delicious traditional Irish breakfast that fueled us for the day and when we came back tired, the comfortable, clean rooms and peace and quiet were divine. We loved how restful it was there. Brenda is an amazing host and we will certainly stay again when we return to Ireland!
Nice place with good hostess. We loved our stay. The house has nice large rooms and a general room to meet other guests. The breakfast was wonderful and both Galway and The Burren are around the corner. We sure did enjoy our stay and we love to come back one day.
This was one of favorite B&B’s of our entire weeklong vacation. Brenda was very gracious, she was able to get us last minute dinner reservations at the local restaurant in Kinvara. She offered us a glass wine in the sitting room upon return from dinner. Family en-suite was large, shower was great. Breakfast was delicious, powdered sugar scones were a favorite. Our family definitely enjoyed playing fetch with Tommy the dog in the yard as well.
We had a lovely room at the front of the house. Brenda ad Michael couldn’t have been more friendly or accommodating. Breakfast was phenomenal and so were the suggestions about where we might visit. We actually chose to stay at this B&B 2 nights because of reviews we read - and I am so glad we did! The scones were out of this world as was the fresh rhubarb vanilla jam. The home is a lovely stone farmhouse and Brenda was very good about telling us where we could get the best WiFi signal in the house, but that really wasn’t an issue for us as we were happiest with face-to-face conversation and getting to know people. We visited the Cliffs of Moher, The Burren, Hazel Mountain Chocolates, The Perfumery, had a lovely tea there and relaxed. On the day we left it was pouring (our only day of really heavy rain) and we headed, at Brenda’s suggestion to Kylemore Abbey and the Connemara peninsula. It was everything she said and more. Loved this B&B. Highly recommend.…
B&B located in Kinvara about a 40-minute drive to the Cliffs of Moher, and Galway City. Upon arrival we were first greeted by a group of cows overlooking the stone wall. Up the long driveway to the front entrance we were greeted by the owner, Brenda, who could not have been more gracious and welcoming. The house is immaculate, the room is meticulous, spacious with ensuite overlooking the verdant meadow. Each morning we had a breakfast choices and everything down to the jam was homemade. I've never had better porridge, all presented on beautifully set table. Perfect area for hiking, viewing the nearby castles and seeing the sun go down on Galway Bay. The area has more than its share of lodging to choose from but none could be better!
Clareview House is a home away from home The hosts are friendly and welcome you with scones and tea.Nothing is too much trouble. There is plenty to see in the area and the house, even though it is set on a working farm is quiet and peaceful. We have enjoyed our 4 stays at Clareview House.
Brenda provide a lovely clean comfortable room, warm hospitality and excellent homemade pancakes for breakfast. She welcomed us into her home And treated us like part of her family. We would highly recommend Clareview B&B for anyone staying near Kinvara.
Clareview House was a bit of change from our usual city stays. It provides picturesque views of a rural Irish West Coast setting. It is located on a dairy farm just a mile or so from the village area of Kinvara. It was wonderful to see first hand the animals and enjoy the beautiful rolling hill views. The home is incredibly warm and inviting, almost taking you back to an earlier time. And everything is incredibly clean. The best part is probably the inn owners. Brenda could not have been more helpful as we were traveling with three children (ages 10, 13, and 15). She and her husband went out of their way to make sure our stay was perfect! Highly recommend!
