Even though I was late to this retreat which was one week long, I was made to feel so welcome by Joanne the manager for whom nothing was to much trouble and Niamh our yoga teacher and Dave the owner. Three centre is really comfortable, in a great location and had lovely areas in which you can relax. The vegetarian food was delicious and plenty of it and I really enjoyed it even though I'm not vegetarian. The friendliness of the other retreat goers was just lovely and we had great fun on our outings and during class and mealtimes. And we even got to swim in the sea. The best part of it all, however, was our brilliant yoga teacher Niamh Daly, it was as if she knew what each of us needed from our class and taught it to us. Her gentle classes were varied and interesting and we were never bored. She did it all with great good humour. I definitely hope to be back at some stage. 🤞

My partner and I just had a great weekend's yoga and meditation at Burren Yoga Retreat. Our ensuite room was really comfortable, the food was so tasty and the welcome superb. Our teacher for the weekend, Eileen, was excellent, really approachable and responsive to people's different needs, helping everyone to get the best from their yoga and meditation experience and also gain the best chance to carry this on back in daily life. The group dynamic she was able to help create was very special and a big part of the enjoyment of the weekend was getting to know the fellow participants, including of course on the Saturday excursion where we got a real feel of the beautiful Burren national park, plus a swim in the sea for those of us brave enough. So I thoroughly recommend getting over to Burren Yoga to experience all this for yourself.

I highly recommend the Burren yoga retreat. The setting in the Burren allows remarkable views and great walks. Being close to the sea, the braver participants went for a sea swim. The accommodation is modern, clean and comfortable. Claire provided wonderful vegan food throughout the weekend. Eileen, our yoga instructor, was instrumental to the success of the weekend. I was a beginner and felt included throughout, even though there were participants who were more experience in yoga. I can incorporate what I learned into my daily routine.

Just home from my weekend retreat. Feel so well and relaxed. Enjoyed every minute of the yoga, the food which is delicious and nutritious, thanks Claire. My room was warm, comfortable, great mattress, choice of pillow. The yoga was great with Eileen. We had an outing on Saturday, a good walk and climbing of hills if so inclined, invigorating and led by Dave who gives a background to the history of the area and the flowers etc., All in all a great weekend, a gift to myself and enjoyed the lovely company of like minded people. I’ll be back.

This was my second time travelling to Burren Yoga Retreat and again I had a great time from start to finish. It's a lovely place to escape the world, meet like-minded people and literally take a deep breath! I stayed just two nights out of a weekly yoga bootcamp and, while it's definitely possible and it's what suited me at the time, staying more than 2 nights (or the full 6) is better value and I can imagine would be a better retreat experience - if that's what you're after. The food is fabulous vegetarian fare of a very high quality, the outings are pitched well and a good chance to get some exercise and enjoy the breathtaking surroundings. The outings happen rain or shine, so come prepared and you're sure to enjoy! The yoga instruction is well adapted to each individual's own level, with the right degree of guidance and correction when needed. Having come from taking yoga classes online for the past two years, this was a welcome change. The facilities are equally of a very high standard - particularly the fabulous light-filled yoga room with floor-to-ceiling windows showcasing the scenic surroundings. The bedrooms are really nice too and perfectly complement the tone of the place. I stayed in the budget rooms last time round and the new rooms this time and enjoyed both - I'd be happy to stay in either again. Again, I visited the Burren Yoga Retreat on my own and both times never found this to be any obstacle to my enjoyment of the place. Many visitors go on their own, some with a friend or relative. It's quite a sociable experience though, so either ways you're bound to get chatting with others there and make great connections. This is a retreat, rather than a holiday as such, so come prepared to relax and really switch off and you'll get the most out of it. I'd easily recommend. Enjoy!

Great place. Lots of yoga (more than other retreats) and the teacher (Grainne) was excellent. It was more that just yoga and the wonderful host - Joanne - organised local day trips. The trips gave you a real feel for the beautiful and unique landscape of the Burren. Food was also sensational. The building is spotless and I always felt very relaxed. Would happily return.

I spent a fabulous weekend with my daughter at The Burren Yoga & Meditation Retreat. This was my 4th visit, and I am looking forward to visiting again in 2024! The location is Kinvara on the west coast of Ireland nestled in the beautiful Burren countryside. The scenery alone is breath-taking! The upgraded retreat centre is so welcoming and has a lovely peaceful vibe. The retreat centre has been completely refurbished to a state-of-the-art facility – it includes en-suite bedrooms, relaxation rooms and an AMAZING 1st floor Yoga studio with windows from ceiling to floor overlooking the breath-taking scenery of the Burren! There are relaxation rooms, a massage room, and quiet rooms for guests to enjoy. Whether you are a seasoned Yogi or a complete beginner – this is the place to go! The centre welcomes students from age 14 to age 80. There was a great age mix at our retreat ranging from 23 to 60. It was lovely to spend time with others at the retreat - everyone was very friendly, and the group gelled together easily - especially at mealtimes in the lovely dining room! The food is vegetarian cuisine – the chef served a variety of delicious vegetarian dishes using locally sourced produce – we were spoiled for choice! The schedule was great – well planned! You have a welcome dinner with the group upon arrival the first evening, followed by an introduction to the retreat, breathwork and Yoga Nidra before you float to bed! Meditation and Yoga start at 8.00am followed by breakfast at 10.00am and by 11.00am we were out in Burren countryside hill walking! Afterwards we visited a nearby restaurant for lunch. We had some free time in the afternoon followed by dinner at 7.00pm. We regrouped at 9.00pm for Meditation and Yoga Nidra. So…early mornings and early to bed, you come home feeling well rested. I would highly recommend going on a Yoga & Meditation retreat. It’s amazing how relaxed you feel afterwards! It’s an opportunity to unplug from everyday routines and give yourself the gift of time. There is a lovely calm vibe at the Burren Yoga & Meditation Retreat which allows visitors to unwind, enjoy yoga, meditation, and everything the Burren has to offer! This wouldn’t be possible without the owner Dave’s attention to detail. We’ll be back!

It’s always wonderful to visit The Burren Yoga Retreat. This was my third time at this Yoga retreat, and I wouldn’t go anywhere else! It’s fantastic to take a break from everyday life, technology and to go within. Whether you are a complete beginner or have a regular Yoga and Meditation practice – this is the retreat to book! I thoroughly enjoyed the Yoga and Meditation sessions with our teacher Eleanor Dawson, and she made a great effort to get to know the group and know what our objectives were for coming on retreat. The upgraded retreat centre is so welcoming and has a lovely peaceful vibe - the Yoga Studio is just fabulous with amazing views of the Burren countryside! The centre has relaxation rooms, a massage room, and quiet rooms for guests to enjoy. It was lovely to spend time with others at the retreat, especially at mealtimes in the lovely dining room! There was a wide range of scrumptious Vegetarian food prepared fresh every day – the chef really put a lot of thought and creativity into the menu. During the retreat we went hill walking in Mullaghmore followed by lunch in a local restaurant. I can’t thank Dave enough for his hospitality! See you in 2024!
