I would give the Bog Bean B&B & Coffee Shop 5 🌟 Stars. It is a beautiful location in the heart of Roundstone.

Orla was so welcoming and went above and beyond for us to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable.

The homemade sausage rolls were absolutely gorgeous will be back for these.

During our journey throughout Ireland we stopped in Roundstone for a quick pause to get some refreshments. We passed the café on our way down to the post office where we bought stamps for our postcards. We thought the café looked very lovely so we decided to get back up there for some coffee, water, a tasty toastie, scones and a delicious brownie. We, a family of 4, were very delighted by the interior design of the café, the wonderful presentation of the food and the lovely staff! If we're ever back in Roundstone we'd definitely stop by the Bogbean Café again!

A great lunch stop in Roundstone.
Sat in the sun outside & had lovely soup & sandwiches, as well as cakes to follow. All homemade & delicious. Generous portions & good value for money.
Really good service too - warm & friendly, despite being very busy.

Popped in for a coffee. Had super BLT&Avo sandwiches and good coffee.

The cakes looked really good as well. We took some coffee cake home which was also very nice.

Very friendly and good service.

Decor is also nice.

We stopped off here for a quick cuppa and were tempted by the scones, which seemed to have citrus zest and maybe cranberries... whatever they contained they were gorgeous. Nice pot of tea as well . It would be even better if they had more outside tables

As other reviewers have pointed out, Orla is a genuinely friendly host and makes you feel very welcome. The cafe is lovely and we thoroughly enjoyed everything we had on arrival - cake, soup, hot chocolate - all delicious. Breakfast in the cafe was lovely too with a welcome change from the usual B&B breakfast menu and as has been said by previous reviewers, the coffee was excellent. I suppose my only disappointment is that whilst the bedroom was clean and functional, the style does not in any way reflect the cool, relaxed vibe of the cafe and you feel as if you're in a totally different establishment altogether as the room was dated with, in my opinion, fuddy-duddy B&B decor!

The whole experience was relaxed and fabulous from start to finish. The B&B is in centre of the town which makes it easy to locate. On entering the B&B you are met with a beautiful smell of fresh flowers. The bedroom was really spacious, clean and comfortable and it included a beautiful view of the sea. There is tea and coffee facilities in the room as well as bottled water which was an added bonus. The cafe attached to the B&B where breakfast is served is just beautiful and relaxed. The breakfast and lunch menus are very appetising and most importantly the food tastes great. Orla the owner of the B&B couldn't have been nicer. She was extremely friendly and welcoming. I will definitely return in the near future and will be recommending the B&B to all my friends and family.

Great rooms. Much larger than the norm - I had a sofa in mine. Bath and shower were really good and the room was warm. Breakfast was excellent and the host was friendly, warm, and helpful. What else do you want from a B&B in Ireland. Highly recommended.

We stayed three nights at the Bogbean while exploring Connemara and were happy we made the right choice. Room was large, with a sofa and looked out over the water. In September the village is quiet but still enough choice for eating out for a few days.
Having visited Clifton, which is much more hectic Roundstone is a more calm experience as well as being close to the super beaches.
Orla and team did the best breakfast we had during our two week travels, and we could mix and match to have a bit of everything. Overall fantastic value.

We stayed here for 1 night, we were not disappointed, the room was classy and clean and was well equipped, the towels were white, clean and soft, the bed-linen was white, clean and crisp. Bottled water was supplied, and the tea/coffee was well stocked. We had a lovely breakfast served by lovely cheery staff, they had a lovely lunch menu also. I would definitely stay there again!!
