Detailed Reviews
First of all, it was great to see that this B&B were taking COVID-19 seriously.
Maurice and Aisling wore face-shields at all times and there was hand sanitiser dispensers on each floor.
Secondly, the experience itself was perfect. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the location is central and the full Irish breakfasts were exceptional.
I would fully recommend this to anyone.

A very warm welcome from Maurice on arrival and our room was a perfect size and located to the front of the house with a lovely view. Bed was very comfortable, good quality bed linen and towels (and lots of them), We met Aishling at breakfast time who was equally welcoming and we had a great breakfast. Lots of choice for breakfast consisting of juices, cereals and a range of options for the hot breakfast, as much tea or coffee, toast, scones and lovely brown bread as you'd like. If you can't manage to eat the homemade scones, take them with you, a great snack for later in the day! Roundstone is beautiful and we are already planning a revisit and we'll stay again with Maurice & Aishling.

What a fantastic find. Perfect stay at this B&B. Lovely view from the rooms 5 & 6 on the top floor. The owner Maurice was so welcoming and nothing too much trouble. Breakfast was plentiful with cereals, fresh fruit, cooked breakfast and breads and scones. Great location too.

I stayed in Island View earlier this year with my parents and my partner as an Irish staycation. The couple who own the B&B, Morris and Aisling, couldn't have been more helpful and attentive. They managed to balance strict hygiene procedures around covid-19 while maintaining a really warm Irish welcome. The breakfast is fantastic and rooms were spotless. Would definitely recommend and will be returning again soon. Haven't got a bad word to say!

Stayed here for one night in June 2021. I was meet by the owner (Maurice) when I arrived into the village and he showed me my room and explained how everything worked. The room itself was very clean and spacious and it contained a double and single bed. The bathroom was spotless and a good size. There was a very good choice of hot and cold breakfast in the morning. The front bedrooms and breakfast room give great views of the sea.
All in all a very comfortable stay and my only regret was that I only had 1 night to spend in Roundstone.

I Visited last year for August and loved the friendly welcome, the rooms, the breakfast, and will be going back every year. Delighted with my choice. We went kayaking over to the islands and had a picnic there which was stunning. The views were spectacular. We also went horse riding following a luncheon at Ballynahinch Castle which is only 15 mins away from Island House.
