Detailed Reviews
It’s not often one is blown away by a hospitality experience particularly with Covid/Post Covid restrictions. It has been very difficult for small and medium size operators to navigate through the restrictions and partial reopening.
Any concerns about visiting hospitality establishments and risks are immediately dissolved when you enter Seagrove and are met by an array of wipes, sprays and instructional signage.
The House is presented very tastefully with the highest level of attention to detail. The place is spotless with good quality linens and towels on beds.
As a borderline OCD candidate I could not find or want to any fault. To reach this level of presentation is hard work but to keep it is nothing short of astonishing as previously reviewed stays would suggest.
Breakfast with the view over the coastline and nearby Island is to be savored and not rushed. The extra pot of tea being the cherry on the cake of a lovely breakfast as I sat taking in the surroundings.
Eileen the owner is the second generation to operate a B and B from this location , her Mother had a strong reputation amongst visitors for running a good show and Eileen has done nothing to change that if anything she has surpassed it. Well done, a pleasure to meet you and to stay and I look forward to returning.

We recently stayed at this lovely B&B, the owner Eileen does a great job and takes pride in offering first class accommodation in an absolutely stunning area, Roundstone, Connemara. We were welcomed heartily, beds and room very comfortable, lovely breakfast with a good choice. The whole house is impeccably clean and the garden has a wonderful view over Roundstone Bay. Eileen gave us lots of information on what to do in the area and chatted warmly to us. Definitely recommend this fabulous B&B and hope to return. It is a great base to travel around to the many wonderful scenic spots in Connemara where dramatic landscapes appear at every turn. Thank you Eileen, we really enjoyed our stay with you and walking in your little bit of this wondrous emerald isle.

Nice house in a nice, quiet area. The room was clean and comfortable. Eileen is a very good host and prepared a tasty breakfast for us (pancakes, fresh fruit, fruit juice, coffee, toasts, ...). Irish breakfast was an option too. I recommend it!

We stayed with Eileen at the Seagrove B&B, near Roundstone, for two days in early March & it was a really great stay. The view from her house is wonderful & it is very peaceful. On day 1 we climbed Diamond Hill in the Connemara NP - an easy enough climb thanks to the great paths - & then visited some lovely beaches on the way back. After dinner in Roundstone, we came back to find a lovely fire for us in the living room. On day 2, we walked the very beautiful “Dog’s bay” area which is very close, before heading back to Galway. Next time (we plan to return!), we hope to walk the island across from her house. One more thing, breakfast are delicious with fresh homemade guinness brown bread, scones and pancakes.

Lovely stay. Eileen met us with a lovely warm welcome. The room was great for the 2 of us. The house is lovely and surrounded by lovely gardens. The view from the front of the house is just breathtakingly beautifu. Eileen recommended us somewhere for a meal and a pint after our travel where the food was just what was needed and washed down by a couple of pints. Eileen also offered to come and pick us up which is all part of the great service you receive when staying at the seagrove. Breakfast was the full Irish and the was plenty of choice of alternatives for all tastes. I have already recommended this place to a friend who will be over there next month.

What a great Easter break with our family. Second time to say here and everything was perfect. Great breakfast, great scenery and close to the village. The host who is a local was so kind to our kids and made so welcome. Thanks for a great stay😀.

After an unfortunate event at the wedding I was attending, Eileen was the most compassionate and helpful host imaginable, going above and beyond to help get me out of a predicament I found myself in.
I cannot recommend SeaGrove House enough, both for the comfort and tranquility of its setting and amenities, and for the unparalleled hospitality Eileen offers to her guests.
Thank you Eileen and I look forward to staying with you again in the future.

What a great place to stay. My wife and I stayed here for three nights and had a wonderful stay. The rooms are immaculate and we had the breakfast room to ourselves with a beautiful view over the coast. The breakfast itself is great - lovely food and really nicely presented too. There's a great walk along the bottom of the hill to get to town (30m) with views over the coast as you go. Have a meal and a pint in Roundstone and then you can phone Eileen or Hugh and they'll happily pop into town to pick you up. What a great service! Really recommend this place for the high standards of accommodation, food and the warm Connemara welcome. First class.

Gorgeous setting minutes from Roundstone village with stunning views of the twelve pins. We were on our honeymoon with our 5 year old and Eileen & Hughie were warm and welcoming , they recommended a spot for dinner on our first night and kindly dropped us into the village . We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and relaxed in their home in the evenings , many thanks to both and highly recommend.

Excellent B&B in a beautiful location.
Very comfortable, quiet rooms and spotlessly clean.
Eileen is a very welcoming host and suggested and booked somewhere for us to eat on Easter Saturday evening.
We had a 6 year old with us, who was delighted on Easter morning, when she received an Easter Egg from Eileen.
Breakfast was delicious and set us up for day!
Thank you Eileen, we will certainly recommend you to friends and family if visiting this beautiful part of the West Coast.
Hope to return sometime 🚘
