We stayed here after having a bit of trouble finding it. Single lane roads to get it. Watch your GPS closely to find it, but the location is worth the trouble. Very nice hosts, great parking area, and nice room. Good breakfast next morning. Views from the dining area are great. We ate supper at Paddy Coynes Pub before we settled in, on their recommendation. A great place. I recommend this B&B if you are in this area.
Thank goodness we ended up in Renvyle one very wet and rainy evening in September and were lucky enough to get a spec booking at the Sea Breeze bed and breakfast owned by Michael and Noreen Connelly. Right on the water, facing the Atlantic Ocean only a short walk from the house this is an idyllic location. We were shown to a lovely self contained unit at the rear of the house with the car parked conveniently close by. The unit was spotless and more than comfortable, with a very comfortable bed, an en-suite bathroom and kitchenette. We slept very soundly and next morning made our way past the three legged cat enjoying its breakfast outside, to the lovely dining room for our own meal. A beautiful spread was laid out and we enjoyed some fresh fruit and yoghurt and then the traditional fried breakfast with all the trimmings. Our hosts were happy to chat, despite our visit on the tail end of a very busy season of visitors. We did get in a walk down to the sea through the property with the waves crashing onto the stoney beach. We would love to stay here again but maybe a longer trip and in sunshine !…
After looking for hours on end for a place to stay starting from Cliffden to Renvyle. There was no room available neither B&B nor Hostal or anything else. It was already 10:30 pm when we saw the sign to B&B Sea Breeze in Renvyle. It was the last we would try and then would have settled in our car for the night. The lovely owners Noreen and Michael told us that they didn´t have a room availabel. They telephoned everybody they knew to see if they would have a room for us but to no avail. Then they said they would let us stay in their daughter´s holiday home for a night and come over to Sea Breeze in the morning. We were very grateful and happy to have found such helpful and lovely people who really went out of their way to accomodate us. We spent a refreshing night in the wonderful house with a seaview . In addition we were blessed with a beautiful sunset and sunrise. If we´ll travel to Renvyle again we´ll definitely make reservations with these lovely people. Thanks a million to Noreen and Michael for their outstanding hospitality…
This was our second stay at the Sea Breeze Bed and Breakfast, and wont be our last. Noreen and Michael Conneely are the best hosts, nothing is too much bother for them. The house is suitable for people with walking difficulties and either the front door or conservatory (which is so warm and cosy you could spend an evening reading or taking in the ambiance) Being 4* it lives up to the stars, it is immaculate, all rooms being un-suite, and the breakfast was gorgeous says hubby who had a full Irish each morning. I highly recommend the Porridge. The tea is on tap 24 hrs a day and any kind of taste in tea is catered for. We were able to charge up the wheelchair with no fuss. Next time I would love to stay in the Self Catering Apartments which there are two, one is for a couple and the other sleeps six. It is very cute, and the window seat is mine when we do come back! The house offers a lot of peace and quiet but a more shy couple may feel more at home in the apartments. Beyond the house is a gorgeous picnic area, which would be ideal for families. We stayed here a few nights and didn't want to leave - I joked they might start charging us rent! The weather was good and we stayed an extra night and had a long walk which was full of the most sweet smelling flowers and the views of the mountains are to die for. Our walk finished just beside the Abbey and then back again. We recommend The Diner to eat for light tea with Packie who is lovely or for a 3 course meal the Meal Reah Hotel is ideal.…
Noreen and Michael are kind and attentive hosts with a beautiful home that they welcome guests to. We loved the food, sun porch, stunning views and room. Shower works great, which can be a challenge to find in Ireland. Lol. Highly recommend!
The two days I spent here were the best I spent in Ireland, also thanks to these hosts. Incredibly friendly and helpful, they provided me a lovely room, a filling breakfast and great recommendations for local restaurants and sights. The view of the ocean down the lane behind the property was stunning. My stay was top-notch from start to finish.
I stayed here for 1 night with my mum and we were given an apartment which looks out onto the sea! The apartment was lovely, clean, warm and homely. Confortable beds, spotless bathroom, kitchen and living area. Breakfast was in front of a lovely big window where we saw numerous dolphins on their way to the killery harbour. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be back again! Thank you to Noreen and Michael for being fab hosts! Katie and Fin
We enjoyed a marvelous 3 day stay. We had at first booked for 2 nights, but as the accomodation and surrounding countryside were so amazing, we added a day. The village of Tullycross boasts enough restaurants, where we enjoyed great meals at reasonable prices. Noreen is a perfect host, gave us helpful tips, and made a lovely breakfast. Our room was spotless and spacious with a fantastic view. We would definately recommend Sea Breeze for a stay, just perfect.
We really enjoyed our one night stay at the Sea Breeze! My husband and I are in Ireland for our honeymoon and the Sea Breeze was our second night in Ireland. We arrived a little after 6pm and were greeted with a smiling face. We had a beautiful room with amazing views of the sea. Breakfast was absolutely delicious! Before we left, we attempted to walk down to the shore but it started raining pretty hard about halfway - will have to make another trip back to the Sea Breeze someday just to get that walk in! We also got to meet Noreen’s friendly 3-legged cat who gave us lots of love before we hit the road.
