Detailed Reviews
We stayed here during our Ireland vacation. The owners could not have been nicer. Fred, went out of his way to get us a place on the bus for the Connemara tour. He quickly cooked us a breakfast so we could eat before the bus came. Thank you Fred. The rooms were extremely comfortable and nice, the bathroom had a “ rain head shower”, which we appreciated after a long day of site seeing. My son and husband raved about their omelets.
Did I mention Fred is an excellent pianist .
I would highly recommend this bed and breakfast .

A short drive from the small village of Tullycross, the Sea Breeze B&B sits at the end of a narrow one-lane road and overlooks a spectacularly beautiful stretch of the Irish coast. My wife and I stayed here for four nights while we explored some of the Connemara area, and we were delighted by the quality of accommodations and the superb hospitality of the owners, Noreen and Michael Conneely. Our very comfortable room had a wonderful seaside view, and there was a patio area just outside our door where we enjoyed a cup of tea after our daily walks in the countryside. We were frequently joined by the owners' friendly three-legged cat which made our stay even more enjoyable. It was easy to get into Tullycross for dinner, and we found some excellent dining options there. Noreen's and Michael's breakfasts were always delicious, and they gave us a choice of menu items that should suit anyone. There was always fresh fruit with some of the best tasting apples I've ever eaten. Connemara is one of the most amazing areas in the whole of Ireland, and the Sea Breeze B&B is a great choice for anyone wanting to explore this incredible place.

I have nice expirience with Sea and Breeze. I booked the room a month before, and I try to find available trip to Skeligs through several sites but it was impossible. I emailed to the host and she find two places on other day and we changed our plan. I really appriciate it. Brekfast was delicious, house is nice, room was extremlly clean, and although our room has view to parking ( rooms with sea view were already booked) we had memorabke stay!

We stayed here after having a bit of trouble finding it. Single lane roads to get it. Watch your GPS closely to find it, but the location is worth the trouble. Very nice hosts, great parking area, and nice room. Good breakfast next morning. Views from the dining area are great. We ate supper at Paddy Coynes Pub before we settled in, on their recommendation. A great place. I recommend this B&B if you are in this area.

Thank goodness we ended up in Renvyle one very wet and rainy evening in September and were lucky enough to get a spec booking at the Sea Breeze bed and breakfast owned by Michael and Noreen Connelly. Right on the water, facing the Atlantic Ocean only a short walk from the house this is an idyllic location. We were shown to a lovely self contained unit at the rear of the house with the car parked conveniently close by. The unit was spotless and more than comfortable, with a very comfortable bed, an en-suite bathroom and kitchenette. We slept very soundly and next morning made our way past the three legged cat enjoying its breakfast outside, to the lovely dining room for our own meal. A beautiful spread was laid out and we enjoyed some fresh fruit and yoghurt and then the traditional fried breakfast with all the trimmings. Our hosts were happy to chat, despite our visit on the tail end of a very busy season of visitors. We did get in a walk down to the sea through the property with the waves crashing onto the stoney beach. We would love to stay here again but maybe a longer trip and in sunshine !

This B & B has access to a rocky beach great for exploring, saw islands, puffins and many rock formations. Hosts helpful and breakfast good. A bit of a walk to dinner but not too bad to get into town for a meal.

A beautifully located b&b with stunning views. Our self catering apartment was spotless, comfortable and superbly appointed. Owners Noleen and Michael made us feel very welcome and nothing was too much trouble. I would strongly recommend Sea Breeze to anyone wanting a lovely base to explore Connemara. We'll certainly be back in the future.

Stayed there for one night during our trip around Connemara. We had a room for 3 (1 double bed+2 single ones).
The place itself is quite simple, but most of the rooms have a sea view. There is also a kind of apartment for 2 which is detached from the house. Our room and the bathroom was clean and homey. Nothing sophisticated.
The owners are very friendly and helpful.
The area is quiet, not a lot of houses and people around. There is a couple of minutes walk to the shore where a pick-nick area with two tables is situated. Kylemore abbey and Connemara National Park are around 10km from there.
The breakfast was a little disappointing for me. There were soda bread, toasts, yogurts, fruit salad and processed cheese. You also can order a full Irish, omelette or pancakes. The pancakes were very tasty and unusual! I was surprised to notice a tea bag in the maple syrup bottle.
All in all it's a nice place for a quiet week-end with great views along the way and from the room.

Washington DC, District of Columbia11 contributions6 helpful votesJulia-- My wife and my youngest daughter will be touring Ireland from the U.S. next summer. The Irish side of my wife's family hails from Renvyle, and so she'd like to stay there for a couple of nights. However, they will need to use public transportation, as there is no way my wife would be able to learn to drive on the left.
Is there a way to get to Sea Breeze using public transportation? Where would be the nearest bus station/depot, and would there be taxis available from there? Would the owner be able to pick people up from that location? Many thanks for all info.
Hi,
Great to hear your wife and daughter are planning a trip to Ireland and especially here to Renvyle, It is lovely to meet people who return to trace their family, There is a bus service from Galway city to Letterfrack which is about 15 minutes drive from us, You will find routes and time tables on citylink. We would be happy to pick up guests from bus stop and transport them to Seabreeze, I hope this will be some help for you,
Kind regards,
Noreen Conneely,
