Arrived To a beautiful house, house was soooo romantic and a place that will make you feel so in love. Food is beautiful and beautifully presented, mood, lighting, music is so good. If your looking for an engagement this is the place, beautiful fire, features. The hosts are so good, and attentive, and really made my stay wonderful. The rooms are so beautiful 😍, and so comfortable and decorated to a really lovely standard, I never recommend place but this place made me feel like I've never felt in a place before. It was just a beautiful place. There is a very small dog and it's just perfect. I know there is no such thing as perfect, but this place is.

This place is best kept secret but is also worth sharing with everyone as it’s so good. Such friendly helpful hosts and the area is simply magnificent. Would highly recommend booking well in advance as they often are booked out all year.

Great location. Friendly, clean and great breakfasts. Amanda and Pete are extremely helpful. Our own entrance was an added bonus as we had our two small dogs with us. Highly recommended. Close to Glassilaun Beach.

We passed with some friends and were lucky to stay, excellent views and are, beach near, beautiful quiet, rooms great and breakfast was superb. Would definitely go back and stay longer. There is a small scuba diving but it was raining and evening so was not sure we can book for it.

This place is absolutely delightful! The location is stunning - tucked in between the gorgeous Glassilaun beach and the Connemara backdrop. Amanda’s hospitality was also fantastic and the food was amazing. The room was spotlessly clean and every last detail taken care of. Delighted with this little find and will definitely be back!

Stayed here with a couple of friends on a cycle trip around Connemara. Spectacular location right beside a sandy beach surrounded by mountains. The cottage was spotless and the owner also cooked one of the nicest dinners I've had in a while. We stayed upstairs and outside our rooms, was a breakfast bar where we could eat the next morning. Would highly recommend especially if you are visiting Connemara or heading on towards Kilmore harbour/Killary Fjord/Delphi region

We received a very warm welcome. Our room was beautiful, with a lovely sea view. It was very well appointed and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfasts were beautiful and the dinner we had was huge. We had a lovely stay and would happily recommend Ard na Mara.

This is the best B&B experience we have had. The location is absolutely stunning, overlooking the beach, overlooked by mountains, with beautiful lakes a walk up and over the hill. We had been staying in Connemara for four nights previous to this and had no idea that this paradise existed. We had an excellent evening meal and a wonderful breakfast, and the room was really comfortable with sea views and with a great bathroom. Amanda and Peter were wonderful hosts, really friendly and welcoming. The guests have a separate entrance which also gives a feeling of privacy. I couldn't recommend this B&B enough. The only issue was that we only booked one night, and when we realised we were in paradise and wanted to stay longer, it was fully booked for the following night. We will definitely be back, but we'll be sure to stay for at least two nights, or ideally even longer.

Absolutely lovely stay here. A very comfortable stay. Amazing and very welcoming hosts. Peaceful surrounding, beautiful view, cosy rooms. The breakfast room had such a lovely atmosphere with lovely soft music and a beautiful view. Such tasty food too. I would definitely stay here again as a base to travel around Connemara. A wonderful stay overall.
