Detailed Reviews
This is the best B&B experience we have had.
The location is absolutely stunning, overlooking the beach, overlooked by mountains, with beautiful lakes a walk up and over the hill. We had been staying in Connemara for four nights previous to this and had no idea that this paradise existed.
We had an excellent evening meal and a wonderful breakfast, and the room was really comfortable with sea views and with a great bathroom.
Amanda and Peter were wonderful hosts, really friendly and welcoming. The guests have a separate entrance which also gives a feeling of privacy.
I couldn't recommend this B&B enough. The only issue was that we only booked one night, and when we realised we were in paradise and wanted to stay longer, it was fully booked for the following night. We will definitely be back, but we'll be sure to stay for at least two nights, or ideally even longer.

Amanda and Peter made us feel at home. The room was beautifully decorated and had all the amenities one would need after a day of outdoor activities or travel. The cottage is easy to find if you rely on Google Maps or if you simply follow the signs. The views from the room overlook the mountains and the beach with sheep strolling around. A truly spectacular and quiet place to recharge for the day of exploration in the amazing outback. Special kudos to Peter who dried our shoes and cooked up an unforgettable breakfast!

Stayed here with a couple of friends on a cycle trip around Connemara. Spectacular location right beside a sandy beach surrounded by mountains. The cottage was spotless and the owner also cooked one of the nicest dinners I've had in a while. We stayed upstairs and outside our rooms, was a breakfast bar where we could eat the next morning. Would highly recommend especially if you are visiting Connemara or heading on towards Kilmore harbour/Killary Fjord/Delphi region

This place is best kept secret but is also worth sharing with everyone as it’s so good. Such friendly helpful hosts and the area is simply magnificent. Would highly recommend booking well in advance as they often are booked out all year.

The rooms are so beautiful 😍, and so comfortable and decorated to a really lovely standard, I never recommend place but this place made me feel like I've never felt in a place before. It was just a beautiful place.
There is a very small dog and it's just perfect.
I know there is no such thing as perfect, but this place is.

This place is absolutely delightful! The location is stunning - tucked in between the gorgeous Glassilaun beach and the Connemara backdrop. Amanda’s hospitality was also fantastic and the food was amazing. The room was spotlessly clean and every last detail taken care of. Delighted with this little find and will definitely be back!

Greeted on arrival yesterday evening by the very pleasant and welcoming Amanda, and led immediately into the “panoramic room”, at which point my jaw dropped. I spent two years of my misguided youth working in a five star hotel so I’m not easily impressed but on this occasion, I couldn’t not be.
The room is massive, with a wetroom style en-suite. I loved the decor, their vibe and I really enjoyed reading through the thoroughly entertaining welcome guide (avoid Clifden ☑️).
The breakfast. Mother of God, the breakfast. The single best breakfast I’ve ever had on an overnight stay in any hotel, hostel, B&B or guesthouse. I need those sausages in my life. And thankfully, not a mushroom to be seen on my plate (thank you for remembering, Amanda!). I loved the kitchen/dining room too; what a gorgeous room.
Without a doubt one of the best B&Bs in Ireland. Top notch. Thank you Amanda and Peter for your hospitality.

This was the best way to end our vacation. The B&B is beautiful, surrounded by mountains and Glassilaun beach a 5 minute walk away. The two bedroom apartment upstairs was perfect for our family of 4. Lots of games/books and space for our young boys to play. The food was delicious and our hosts were so kind. Definitely a highlight of our trip!

Absolutely lovely stay here. A very comfortable stay. Amazing and very welcoming hosts. Peaceful surrounding, beautiful view, cosy rooms. The breakfast room had such a lovely atmosphere with lovely soft music and a beautiful view. Such tasty food too. I would definitely stay here again as a base to travel around Connemara. A wonderful stay overall.

Great location. Friendly, clean and great breakfasts. Amanda and Pete are extremely helpful. Our own entrance was an added bonus as we had our two small dogs with us. Highly recommended. Close to Glassilaun Beach.
