We stayed three nights at this lovely site. A beautiful setting on the beach, yet with adequate shelter. Facilities are good, the owner Regina was very kind and helpful and the setting is just glorious in the autumn colours. Regina suggested we walk up the mountain path, which we did. The views were amazing. There’s much more to see here.... if we get back some time.
We stayed at this STUNNING site for two nights at the beginning of August. Liam and his wife are fantastic hosts. The site is literally on the beech front with breath taking views. There's lots to do and see on the magical part of the country. We'll definitely be returning. The only downfall for us is we hadn't a few more days in beautiful Connemara
We had a really fantastic week in this site. We were very lucky with the weather also it was warm and sunny every day. The location of the campsite is excellent. The campsite has its own private beach when the tide is in and when its out you can walk to Lettergesh beach. Its a lovely clean and relatively quiet beach. The facilities were cleaned very regularly. The site itself is pretty relaxed and all pitches aren't clearly marked which can be confusing whe you first arrive. Regina and her husband are lovely people and helped us out with anything we needed. There is so much to do closeby to this site. Within a few kilometers you have multiple walks and mountains, such as the Western way and Diamond Hill. We went on a lovely walk on a trail from Rosroe pier along Killary Harbour. There is quite a decent chipper in Tully Cross just a few kilometers away. I'd highly recommend this campsite to anyone both young and old.…
Just home from a trip to Connemara and had an fantastic few days at Connemara Camping. The hosts Regina and Liam were terrific, so friendly and helpful. Facilities were very well kept, plenty of sanitising and always seemed to clean with plenty of hot water. The location is amazing, gorgeous beach at the end of the park with a mountain backdrop. We were two families with teenagers and nobody wanted to go home. Bikes are handy for getting about and lots of local advice available. We can’t wait to go back!!!!Thanks Regina and Liam.
This campsite is really a jewel of the west of Ireland while not like many of the other more commercial sites we visited on our trip along the wild Atlantic way the facilities were clean and it had everything you needed. You are right on the beach and with some of the best views you can get in Connemara. There is plenty to do in the area also. To top it all off the owners are very accommodating and friendly and always on hand to offer advice on what to do in the area. I would not hesitate visiting this site again if in the area
