Whaw, being a regular visitor to Ireland Glassillaun is Gods gift to Connemara, beautiful white sandy beach on your doorstep sunsets that Hollywood directors would die for the sun setting over Innishturk was very humbling. Kathleen, we thank you for your warm warm welcome the free range eggs were lovely and the fact you perfectly hid from us our son had without our knowledge flown over from Australia was quite an emotional tearful experience. Full on accommodation with all facilities and despite the fact I cannot climb stairs the living room was large enough to bring down a bed without causing any disruption to the rest of my family. What a coincidence our son living in Australia and your grandson have the same christian name, cherish him and all your family for God lent them to us.

A perfect location for a gathering of friends and family. On the beach, at the foot of spectacular hills - simply stunning. We were warmly welcomed and had the run of the place for our weekend visit. Without a doubt, we'll be back!

With a family party of 11, young children in the family, couples and Grandma we had enough space to live together for the week. Every room was spacious with ensure facilities. It is close to the beach with fantastic views and in easy access to many attractions. The house itself is homely, not super modern and would benefit from a bit of attention to fixtures and fittings and new bedding etc. The owners next door are friendly and helpful.

Spent another relaxing long weekend at this beautiful family run self catering guest house over looking Glassillaun beach! The proprietors were very welcoming & hospitable and made our stay stress free, not only was the house comfortable in every way, the views were breathtaking even in winter and the scenic countryside made us want to stay longer, there is lots to see & do and only a few miles away there are some lovely local pubs & restaurants that make everyone welcome, I would definitely recommend, will most definitely be visiting again.
