Had a fabulous few days here with my canine companion! What a joy to find a hotel which welcomes dogs - he enjoyed it every bit as much as I did. Wonderful staff, excellent cuisine and beautiful setting. Can't wait to go back.

If your looking for an ultra modern chic hotel this is not for you. However if you are looking for a wonderful old style hotel offering excellent food and exceptional service this is it. Have just returned from a weekend there after visiting with a large group of people. It is a very welcoming hotel with peat fires burning in...

Renvyle house is set amongst beautiful scenery in lovely Connemara and one could encounter ducks and chickens roaming about on the avenue up to the house. It's olde worlde and has great charm and attraction. My husband and I have stayed there a few times and always loved it. In winter you will step into a reception with a blazing...

Booked in for 3 nights with family. Arrived at 9pm after long drive. Fancied some bar food/snack. Told bar food finished at 8pm but the restaurant was open. I explained to bar man that we were and not that hungry for the full set menu(and the expensive price). He then went to ask someone if there was anything they could...

I visited Renvyle House Hotel for a wedding and stayed for 3 nights and this place has a lovely feel to it. The location is wonderfully remote with lovely views out to the sea. I was there in the middle of the wild winter but I can imagine it is great to visit during the summer for their pool and...

Renvyle House Hotel is remotely situated on the Connemara coast, north of the village of Letterfrack. This was my second stay at this hotel and nothing much has changed (including the bathroom in need of updating!). The hotel is not in the normal, run-of-the-mill, modern style; more of a character place which refuses to become a clone of the bright,...

Hello JohnOF, Happy New Year! Thank you for taking the time to provide such a comprehensive review. I am delighted that over all you enjoyed your stay and clearly felt the uniqueness of Renvyle House. The turf fires are, indeed, very popular as is the food at Renvyle. I'm glad you enjoyed both. We do carry out renovations/refurbishments every year...

An oasis of character away from the tacky plasticated villages and ugly bungalows that spoil beautiful Connemara, Renvyle house is a welcome relief. Wonderful staff of all different hues, languages, countries of origin. Terrific food served in a 1950/60 style dinning room, the style suits the hotel. Renvyle was rebuilt sometime in the 20ies so lots of 'Art Decor' touches. Renvyle house...
