Two night break in November? You don't go for the weather, just the scenery, the good food and the smell of a turf fire. Renvyle house has all three and the room we had in the newer wing was satisfactory. We had dinner in the old style restaurant. We started with the crabmeat with spring onion with the latter completely...

If you like majestic, ornate entry ways, cavernous rooms with marble floors and granite bathrooms, don't come to Renvyle House. If pendulous chandeliers and overstated Celtic tiger decor is your thing, stay at home. Come to Renvyle House if you like peace and actual quiet. Engage with smiley faced staff and relish smells of ocean and turf fire. If dark...

From astonishing natural beauty to great food, peace and quiet, outdoor activities the whole family can enjoy, attentive respectful staff, lovely selection of alcohol and plenty of nearby adventure/touring opportunities you will not be disappointed. Why only 5% of guests are American is beyond me. The Irish certainly have kept this hidden gem to themselves!

My daughter and son in law chose Renvyle House hotel for their wedding reception because we have had several family occasions there and enjoy the atmosphere and the beautiful setting. We could not have imagined how well organized everything was. The staff were attentive and unobtrusive and everything ran absolutely perfectly. The party lasted three days and their nerves never...

We had a lovely stroll to the beach and were able to enjoy our lunch on the patio in the rare April sunshine. The food in...

Had a fabulous few days here with my canine companion! What a joy to find a hotel which welcomes dogs - he enjoyed it every bit as much as I did. Wonderful staff, excellent cuisine and beautiful setting. Can't wait to go back.

Have just returned from a weekend there after visiting with a large group of people. It is a very welcoming hotel with peat fires burning in...
