Booked in for the night and on first impressions a nice, cosy and quite hotel with a bar that served a good varied selection of dishes. Perfect for after a hike or other activities. Unfortunately we had to leave as my partner fell ill but the hotel were kind enough not to charge which was a nice touch. Will visit...

Another comfortable stay completed at Peacockes. Staff attentive, pleasant and courteous. Special mention to Annie and Jocelyn for their patience. All areas spotless and warm. Family room was like a 'home from home'. Great spot for touring Connemara or just having a glass of wine by the lovely fire in the bar/restaurant. Food was excellent. Will definitely be back. Friendly welcome and helpful staff. We stayed on Jan 1st and the room was cold, the radiator although on full heat didn't quite warm it up sufficiently. Good sized room and comfortable beds but it needs a king size duvet on a double bed, not one that only overlaps the sides by 3 inches...we slept in separate beds as a...

I would personally like to thank Peacockes Hotel staff for hosting our mother's 100 Birthday Party on August 20th 2016. It was an absolute delight to hold the party at such a lovely venue! Thank you to the staff who assured the party run smoothly. Dinner choice was fantastic, followed by Sonny Colm Larry's live Band with traditional Irish dancing....

We stopped off at Peacocks on New Years Eve for supper and found it to be top class. Friendly and efficent service by the staff and the food quality was excellent. Also a very nice atmosphere in the bar area created by a group of teenage girls playing a mix of trad and folk songs and irish dancing too. Just...

Great hotel between Galway and Connemara, we had a cosy room with a little balcony and a great view of the sunrise. Loved the viewing deck and gift shop. The staff were so helpful and friendly everywhere we went in the hotel and we spent hours in the bar next to the fire. Excellent breakfast and great value for money....

The hotel accommodated my non-dairy preference very kindly and creatively. I loved the water in the shower - made my skin feel great. The staff were really friendly and I got some great souvenirs in the gift shop.

So glad we stopped for lunch although the gift store was close. Husband said a moment ago, "That was the best steak sandwich I've had in a long, long time." It was good. My favorite was the excellent coleslaw. Terrific. Thanks!
