Spent two magical nights in Zetland. This is so different to any other four star hotel I have ever stayed in before that a new category needs to be created specifically for this place, this experience. From booking over the phone to arriving it was personal touch all the way. It was personal it was what sets us as Irish... More

We stayed two nights at this hotel, and everyone was charming and a delight. It's an excellent location for exploring Connemara and very peaceful. We had a very large room overlooking the bay. There were nice sitting areas with an open fire and lots of books. We ate at the 'pub' in the hotel. There were generous portions of nice... More

If you want a laid back atmosphere in the style of the thirties to fifties centred around fly fishing, excellent cuisine and Irish whisky sampling this the place for you. The hotel has an amazing situation looking over Cashel Bay. The rooms are all very individual with real antiques and a feel of real quality harking back to times when... More

Let me begin by saying 26 of us came in from all over the world to have a black-tie dinner party on Saturday night to celebrate the relationship each person had with the guest of honor. The guest list was like central casting, ages ranging from 19 to 85 years old, from crack attorneys to a beloved high school coach,... More

Wonderful place and people. The hospitality was amazing! Countryside was gorgeous. The food and the atmosphere made the drive out so worth it. It's a bit of a hike from Galway to drive out there. This experience was out of a movie country inn. Stay for the vacation and leave with new friends.

What a joy to arrive at the Zetland House and Hotel. Martina and Colm were marvellous hosts. Margaret -- an excellent chef. The home is beautifully furnished; Colm's personal library and art collection decorate the house. Our room was spacious; the bathroom modern and the large bath and shower were both 'fit for a king'. The gardens and grounds...magnificent. It... More

Could not have had a warmer welcome and stay! The views are gorgeous of the bay, the grounds are lovely, and the hospitality was excellent. The fine dining was quite good and you can look out over the bay while you eat.

I had the pleasure of staying at the Zetland Country House back in June whilst on a work trip with Harrods Magazine. We had such a pleasurable stay, whilst we were busy in the days shooting in the Bogland and the beautiful scenery, the staff all ensured that they met all of our requirements and were extremely attentive. The home... More

The Zetland was a perfect fit for us - Out of the way and quiet yet close enough to get where we wanted to go [car required]. We stayed August 4th and 5th and had a wonderful time. Our room was HUGE and our view was beautiful. The grounds are lovely and peaceful to walk. The Zetland is an older... More

We stayed at Zetland House for two days as part of our cycling trip. The staff were amazing, the rooms were very spacious and the food was great. While sitting in the reading room, we ordered our dinner, sampled some whiskey and read until our meal was ready. We left with many fond memories.
