Clone House is a wonderful place for a group hen party. I hosted my sister’s here along with 26 friends and would definitely return for a similar event. The house and surroundings are beautiful, and the kitchen, dining area, sitting room and bedrooms are all extremely spacious with ample room for a large group to take over and enjoy for the weekend. The host also offered a complimentary early check in so I could arrive and decorate/setup 1 hour earlier than all other guests. We were able to bring our own activity/entertainment and we had live music play until after 2am with no noise concerns raised by the hosts. We also had access to the communal downstairs space for 1 hour longer than the bedrooms which allowed plenty of time to regroup and have breakfast proper to departing. If you’re looking for a hen party location close to Dublin I couldn’t recommend enough!

We stayed here for my sisters hen party and have to say we found it amazing- the house itself is beautiful with each of the rooms oozing charm and personality - the large dining room was perfect for our large group as everyone could sit and eat together. Breakfast served both mornings was delicious equal to any breakfast in a top hotel. Couldn’t recommend enough!

Myself & 19 of my friends rented out Clone House for a night, for my friend’s hen party. It was an incredible stay, from start to finish. A beautiful plant filled sitting room is where we did most of our entertaining.. then into the beautiful old style kitchen and we then had dinner in the massive dining room, there was so much space! Each bedroom was HUGE and had such lovely touches.. hidden bathrooms, a sauna… and every room was different. Beautifully styled, and everything was sparkling clean. I would have loved to stay for a week! Will definitely be back, such friendly hosts too. Thank you Jeff & Svetlana!

Arriving at this place was at first sight somewhat confusing as it looked very different from the pictures we saw on the web. We were shown to the room we had booked at the back of the house - it was pokey, appalling decoration and furniture and worst of all a badly cracked basin in the bathroom. We were reluctant to lose the money and move to another hotel so we spoke to the owner asking for a bigger room, which were given, for a 40 euro surcharge. Large, yes, comfortable bed, yes, but all the furniture looked as if it had been purchased in a junk shop or house clearance sale as it was all in terribly poor condition and taste. The bathroom was a joke. Nice and big, but a tiny shower, and the bath must have been bought in a scrapyard as much of the enamel was chipped, the plumbing very suspect and although it had been installed in the centre of the room to be freestanding it had a lip on one side where it should have been installed against a wall. The floor was painted and had a small and very dirty rug. To get hot water you needed to run the tap for ages and the pressure was poor. Loo seat was a wobbly, cheap plastic one. The literature in the room somewhat sanctimoniously suggested that there was no TV so the guests would appreciate the quiet atmosphere, but that there was a room downstairs .the parlour, where there was a large TV with Sky channels which we could watch. We asked about this, but apparently not available and actually we noticed the family instead watching it themselves! The breakfast was laid in two rooms on tables with plastic tablecloths, rather like a rudest hostel. However the breakfast itself was excellent, which was the only redeeming factor.
The standards are well below what one might expect for the price range and we certainly won’t be staying here again or recommending it to any friends.

We rented the whole house out for a hen party (25 people), and we had a brilliant time. The house is spacious and beautifully furnished, set in a beautiful scenic spot in Wicklow. Jeff was extremely helpful in the organisation of the event, always very responsive and willing to help.

I would like to give a special thanks to Svetlana, Sarah, Chloe, Heather, and Aoife who were on hand for all our needs and provided a beautiful 3-course dinner and delicious breakfast the next day. They were all so kind and helpful and made our stay extra special and relaxing.

Would highly recommend!

Our daughter was married here last May, and I submitted a review. I omitted to say that this venue , while run by Jeff and his lady, svetlana, also have the help of a couple of local girls. Their very able and capable Sarah was on hand to help with all our needs and this young lady was a powerhouse and is a great asset there. Clone House is lovely and highly recommended

I rent out clone house as maid of honour for a hen party in March and it was perfect. Jeff and the staff were very friendly and helpful when needed and other than that we had the place to ourselves to celebrate the bridge to be. The rooms are gorgeous as well as the grounds and perfect for an overnight/weekend celebration. Everything was perfect and we had the best time so much so some of the others have booked in to stay during the wedding in June.

Thanks clone house!

We stayed for 4 nights in August and had a lovely, relaxing time. Jeff and Svetlana are very welcoming and friendly. My daughter had a wonderful time helping Svetlana with the geese and peacocks! She didn't didn't want to leave and is already planning a trip for next year.
Our bedroom was spacious and comfortable with lovely furnishings. Breakfast was excellent - nicest porridge I have ever had.
The grounds are lovely and our little dog was able to roam freely.
Overall, it was a fabulous stay and would highly recommend.
