Really neat little B&B on the island - the owner is very sweet lady and her husband drives one of the horse drawn tours around the island - very reasonable my prices and comfortable they’re very informative and just overall family feeling - when I go back I stay there again
Lovely B&B, very convenient location enjoying gorgeous sea views from the dining room and front terrace. Spotlessly clean, very comfortable & good breakfast. Geraldine and Niamh were perfect hostesses, nothing was too much trouble, they were very helpful in arranging an early ferry back to Doolin due to sea conditions which sadly cut our stay short. Good value for money and we will definitely be returning.
Really really nice B&B. Perfection at all levels: room, location, breakfast & lovely welcoming atmosphere. We have stayed 2 days on the island and enjoyed every minute of it. We were able to leave our luggage at the house for the entire stay which was helpful.
Sea Crest deserves a top rating. Our room was comfortable, the bath large enough and the amenities just as needed. The Irish breakfast would have fed both of us. Geraldine was friendly and loved to chat. The facility features a large room for dining and a small area set aside for visiting. The rooms run down a hall more like a hotel than a typical B&B not that there is a typical B&B. If we get such chance to go back this is our first choice. For the previous reasons and for its location si close to the harbor.
This B&B is within easy walking distance from the ferry terminal - maybe a quarter of a mile or so. The couple we were traveling with had mobility issues so I had contacted Geraldine in advance and she agreed to pick them, and their luggage, up at the terminal - very nice of her. My wife and I walked to the B&B which only took a few minutes, it is just past the Aran Sweater Market. Our room was fairly small with the sink in the bedroom and the bathroom very small with the toilet and shower. The bed was comfortable. There is a common area where you eat breakfast which also had a TV, couches, chairs, etc - very nice. The wifi worked fine for us. The breakfast was good. We took a pony & trap tour right from the B&B since Geraldine's husband, Thomas Flaherty, owns it (our guide was someone who worked for Thomas). That was very convenient (see separate review). There are several places to eat that you can walk to, we used Joe Watty's which is only about 300 yards down the road. We would certainly recommend this B&B. Geraldine was very friendly and accommodating in all regards and the accommodations were comfortable.…
