We had a very lovely stay with Lola and Aiden. We were traveling with a 9yo and 11 yo boy and they were very accommodating and generous to them. The breakfast was delicious and hearty, which was very appreciated as lunch could be a crapshoot while traveling. Our rooms were very nice and warm, too. We were spending the majority of our time in Skerries or taking the train to Dublin so the location was ideal. I highly recommend Lolaido House.

Thank you Aiden & Lola for welcoming us into your BnB. My family and I throughly enjoyed our stay. Lolaido House was comfortable, welcoming and very clean, and having our own entrance was ideal. Your Irish breakfast with all the trimmings was delicious and kept us going most of the day! Your knowledge of the area was really interesting and advice of the many activities to do around the area was very useful. You were always on hand for our questions or queries, and very accommodating during our stay. We hope to stay with you again, and will be sure to recommend Lolaido House to family & friends. Thanks again.

Very nice place, great location. Skerries is a nice place to stay. I spent one night here as I needed to be close to the airport and this location was perfect. Very nice couple with a lot of local knowledge. Room was great, very comfortable with nice bathroom and very good value. It is only a few minutes from Skerries but is in a rural stting with lots of wildlife around. Very relaxing place. Highly recommended.

My niece was having her wedding reception in Skerries, so we decided to make a few days of the visit, seeing as we were there. We needed to find some accommodation and this was one of the places recommended. As we were a bit late getting our arrangements sorted out, this was the first place we tried that actually had any space available. It's not that close to the main places in Skerries and it was a bit further out than we'd have liked, but it looked a nice place on the website, so we decided to go for it.
Well, it seemed fortune smiled on us on this particular occasion!
It's not the easiest place to find, but once we did, we were very pleased indeed. The sun shining helped a bit, but the photos didn't do the place justice; it's a beautiful, whitewashed building in a very Mediterranean style, surrounded by nothing but fields. Very quiet indeed. We parked up and were immediately greeted by Lola and Aidan, who took us inside. After a quick run through of breakfast arrangements, where we enter and exit the building, Lola asked us if we knew Skerries at all. As we didn't, she pulled out a visitors map and proceeded to tell us where was nice to go, where the best places to eat where, where we could park for free... after half an hour, we felt like we knew the place inside out!
There are four rooms in the place and we'd occupied three of them. The smallest, a double room, has one double bed, but arguably the best views of the rooms as the sea was in there. Also upstairs was a family room with a double and a king size room, which we got to see because, by sheer fluke, our nephew and his family had booked it! Downstairs were two "twin" rooms, each with a double and single bed. Every room had an en-suite with a shower cubicle and every room was utterly spotless. There was also a generously sized room which was the breakfast area at one end and a comfortable lounge with large TV and entertainment options at the other.
Breakfast was a full Irish, which was a very large plateful of food and set even a big chap like me up for the day! There were also cereals on offer, with as much toast, tea, coffee and juice as you could manage.
Lola turns out to be an oracle on more than just Skerries, too, as she was able to offer options on what to do on the day we were taking some of our party to the airport, all of which were no more than a few minutes away. On that same day, one of our kids wasn't well and wanted to stay back to recover. Lola promised to keep an eye on her for us, which included her leaving a drink and some biscuits!
On the final evening, I had settled down in the lounge with one of my daughters to watch a film on their TV, which had one of those hard drive media players attached. Lola and Aidan came in from a night out, had a chat with us, then offered us refreshments, including a Guinness for me!
I've stayed in B&B's before and I've always found the host families to be very pleasant and welcoming, but Lola and Aidan took this to a whole new level, one which I was not expecting at all. They made us feel like family, so much so that when it came to leave, we all felt a little bit sad that we had to go.
My only complaint is that I found the mattress a touch uncomfortable, but then I'm really fussy about mattresses.
Writing this review had left me with a real quandary. Whilst I wanted to ensure that I left an accurate review of our stay, I didn't want to find that it would be booked up from now until forever, with no chance of us ever getting to stay there again - and we would, in a heartbeat. But then I considered that, if people didn't know, then we might lose it altogether and with it two of the most genial, caring and generous hosts I've ever had the pleasure of staying with. And that's including family!

First of all, me and my brother had a such great time and experience of enjoying an amazing hospitality of Lola and Aiden (the owners).
The Loilado House is so clean and organized in a friendly and family environment.
They made sure that we had a brilliant time and comfortable nights there.
The breakfast was out of this world: rich, delicious and tasty. They were very helpful, attention to the detail and above all. They always made sure if everything was OK.
I HiGHLY recommend anyone to have a very relaxing, enjoyable staying there. The customer service was amazing. We had a beautiful scenery from the local countryside area where we could walk and breath the nature and relax from hectic life in the big city.
If you are looking for a relaxing, comfortable room and a lovely breakfast and a warm welcome by Lola and Aiden: The Lolaido is the perfect place to have a fantastic time in a friendly environment and lovely and relaxing location.

I have just returned from spending 8 brilliant nights in this beautiful and serene B&B about a mile outside of Skerries. Pity about the 5 star rating, I would have gone WAY beyond 5 stars, more like 5,555 if I could and MORE even as the quality of service I received here was the same as if I was a member of the lovely Lola and Aiden's family. The breakfast was of a local produce and cooked perfectly to order everyday by the fab owners of this beautiful place and there was not a damn thing that was of any trouble whatsoever to either Lola or Aiden as these people helped me out in which ever way they could and did not fail to deliver this as their help was genuinely appreciated. Lolaido House would be the place to go to if you wanted to stay somewhere that was not slap, bang right in town and wanted a calmer atmosphere and this describes my type of holiday and I opted for Lolaido and I have little to no regrets about choosing this place and my sincere thanks to Lola and Aiden for your generous hospitality and I hope that I will once more stay in Lolaido at some point in the future as this is the type of place that one would want to come back to again and again for it's atmosphere, relaxation and of course, the everlasting kindness that comes from the owners. Thanks again.

Last week we arrived their late evening due to a recommendation from another B&B that couldn't offer rooms for us. We were happy that we found this place. It is a quite location and you can even see the sea even it is not very close. Lola was a great host having a lot of recommendations for us for sight seeing, food, etc. The rooms were very clean and well equipped. The only disadvantage we found was the double bed that was a bit too small for my wife and me. So we decided to sleep the other night in separate beds. Breakfast was excellent.
