We booked the Harbour Master room and the views didn't dissapoint. We didn't get to see the owners but Lorna was super efficient and very nice. The rooms is big and comfy and have fabulous views either in sunny weather or rainy. Breakfast was very nice and the breakfast room is bright and airy. Pity there is no place to park your car or shower get in the bathroom but these were not too importan in the scheme of things. I would recommed it.
This was our second visit to The White Cottages. We stayed for four nights and had the most incredible time. Joe and Jackie are so welcoming and helpful. Joe printed out maps and directions to Glendalough and even let us borrow his hiking sticks. The breakfasts were delicious and had plenty of choice - the fruit loaf is a personal favourite ;-) We stayed in the Harbour Master which was so clean and beautiful and had such lovely views of the Irish Sea and Skerries. The highlight of our trip (which happened to be our highlight last year too) was Cassie. A beautiful, friendly Collie who would quite happily play with you all day if she could- I found it very difficult to say goodbye! We hope to visit again next year but will treasure the memories we made in Ireland until…
A very short visit but worth every minute. We felt so welcome and looked after by Jackie and Joe and let's not forget the lovable mascot, Cassie! We enjoyed the beautiful location overlooking the Irish sea the common area, the outdoor patio to gaze at the Irish beauty and of course the top of the line breakfast . Every aspect was thoroughly enjoyed and Skerries has its own charm and charisma that is contagious. All the gorgeous flowers and outstanding views make you never want to leave. We hope to plan another visit with more time as it's truly a little slice of heaven. Many thanks.:)
We were going to the afters of a wedding on the Saturday in Skerries rugby club and needed somewhere to stay. The family of the wedding party suggested the white cottages. I’m from Rush myself but never knew about the white cottages. As you can see from pictures the view is breathe taking. We were made to feel very welcome, and the breakfast was delicious. Would highly recommend and I plan on returning next year. Thank you to the owners for looking after us.
Stayed for one night break in the White Cottages on Friday with my wife for a night away break, had a really lovely experience. The location, place and hosts were great. Wanted a peaceful and relaxing night away by the coast and got it. Very laid back and enjoyable. Thanks to Joe and Jackie the owners, room and breakfast spot on. Will hopefully be back.
